Hi! From a person who speaks korean:
This moment is cute and all but most of the community have misinterpreted it. So, in korean when people are the same age they use the word 친구(chingu) to describe it. It is also often translated to friend since it has basically the same meaning. The main point is that when you are the same age you are considered friends and you can also use informal language with each other. In the clip jin says 야 해봐. (ya haebwa) which roughly translates to "try saying 'ya' to him" which is informal and only really considered ok between friends(aka people of the same age)
So even if I also fully wish this clip was about if they are friends or something more, it really just comes down to the korean age culture. I hope we could look at things in context and not draw conclusions this easily. Have a good day!
