So my take that "knowledge" is not the same as "vision" or "seeing" the future, so it's probably limited of what he knows. And honestly, love Wukong and Wujing's friendship is so wholesome!
Because he is fighting Sun Wu Kong who has the ability to change the course of planets and stars. the future is constantly changing during the fight, that why Six-Eared Macaque is called near-omniscience.
