The childrens' church director would play this song before he led each service for the kids. Every time I hear this song, it ministers to me and I can't help feeling the same way I did so many years ago when I was praising and clapping for Jesus as an innocent child. It brings a lot of anointing to my life.
I grew up in a religious house my dad is a pastor and growing up I loved this song still one of my favorites and now I am passing the tradition to my sons AMEN THANK YOU GOD
Praise the Lord!! Thank God there are some good parents left in the world! The things you teach your children pertaining to The Lord, and his son Jesus will stick with them. As a child my parents raised me right, and my dad also had me recite certain verses which i still remember to this day! I turned away from Jesus in my teens and dove into dark stuff. I just got baptised 4 months ago. I chose to walk down a really tough path with my freewill. Luckily the things my parents taught me when i was young, and knowledge of the Lord saved me from where i was headed. So just remember teaching your children about Jesus when they are children they children will really help them as they grow older. God bless you!
I remember when I was in 3rd grade, and they played this song at camp. During the chorus, we would sing: "- It's a big big table, with lots and lots of food, CHINESE! A big big yard, where we can play football, TOUCHDOWN! A big big house, it's my Father's House!" Cheesy, but that's what my camp memories are made of. :)
they used to play this song on sundays in the children's ministry when i was a kid. always was and always will be one of my faves. i'm so glad they still play this song on the radio! it gives every christian something to look forward to, and i can't wait to go to my father's house!
Love this song! Love Audio Adrenaline! They released their first album just after I started my youth pastor years, so many of our kids followed along as they grew and developed as a first-rate band, and we saw them many times in concert. Met the guys, too, and they are great! Thanks for posting!!
we used to sing this song in childrens ministry when i was a kid. it's a classic, always one of my favorites! i love that they stiil play it on the radio. it give every christian somehting to look forward to. i can't wait!
i've never been able to really get this song out of my head. all of a sudden, i'll start singing the chorus out of nowhere. i just had to look for it. takes me back to my childhood...great times.
I remember being at one of the church's we attended . . .it was Kids' Night and the Youth Pastor played this song, ..My son and I were having so much fun enjoying a new type of praise and worship in songs and adorations to the LORD,that he wanted me to accompany him to the front of the congregation where the majority of the church's kids and their parents were doing the clapping and movements together and having fun and fellowship with God and each other..But because I walked with a cane I was afraid that I might fall down, since it would have just been only he and I of our family...just Mom and son...I regret that my foolish pride and fear of embarrassment of falling , kept me from making a special memory with my son... As I reflect back, I remember his hurt look he had on his face by my not going to the front of the church sanctuary with him. He wanted so much for his Mom and him to just have fun worshiping God with other Mom's and Dad's and their kids-- and just have a wonderful time praising God and making happy memories together..
+Margie Ann Collins I'm sorry for this, Margie. "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1, NIV). I pray you would not fell regret, but would rejoice in our Lord Jesus now, knowing that you will be able to dance and praise Jesus without a cane in heaven! Our Lord Jesus loves you and delights in you, no matter what you did or did not do (Isaiah 149:4)... I pray you would hear this song and feel overjoyed, free, absolutely Loved, and always accepted as you think about the room Christ is building for you in heaven (John 14:2). Blessings, sister :)
At the children's ministry of my church, they would play this about once every month, andI remember it was always the best day ever when they did. We would yell "SOCCER" after "where we can play football" to make it fair for the girls, and we did all the handmotions. I remember once I was on the way to school in 4th grade when this came in the radio and my mom blasted it full volume as she dropped me off. I was mortified then, but would do anything to have those moment back (:
This song is great and gets stuck in my head from out of the blue. It's still my youngest son's favorite songs and will jam with me whenever it's on the radio. LOVE IT!!!!!!

@bigbrother792 The 1st time I heard this group was at a concert of theirs years ago. And they pulled me up on stage with several others on one of their songs. it was creepy being up that high, and I'm anything but a great dancer or anything cool looking. But it was a lot of fun and I loved their music and lyrics.
@alaskanmusicangel this was my favorite song to listen to on my way to church when I was younger. Now I'm 18 and I can't find it on CD anymore. Those were good times!!!!!!!!
i hope any and every body who is watching this and is not saved will come to jesus and get saved so that you can start reading the living word of god and god to church and worship so god can start pouring out his blessing and give you true peace and happiness that can only come from god threw his son jesus god bless

Just wondering something here. My cousin sings Christian songs with his band from his church. I attended a music event he had at his local church on Sunday evening. During the performance, he had moments of prayer, and spoke of recent experiences. He spoke of a recent experience at a work camp in which he was singing his songs, some kids behind the stage chanted "Big House, Big House." He said he was demoralized by it, and it brought him to tears afterward. Continued on post above:
the song is talking about God the Father and His house aka the Church..and the family of believers... also abstractly talking about Salvation and the house of God as in Heaven. Being a part of the Family of God etc.
