    My hair goals for this year are growth, length retention and preventing breakage. Last year I left my hair in box braids for a tad bit too long and while I had them in I had series of exams and uni work, I barely moisturised, oiled my scalp or did anything to my hair, most times leaving my hair alone (just spritzing it occasionally in braids) works for me and I see growth after I take down the style but I did this for way too long without moisturising and suffered a lot of breakage which I’m still cutting off gradually.

      Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
      *What is the Gospel?*
      The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
      For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
      Romans 10:9
      9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
      JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!

      stop cutting off split hair and start using bonds and aveyric oil methods. sulfur treatments once a month and crece pelo every time you wash your hair as a mask you will see a huge difference remember diet significantly effects hair growth not genetics, poor diet and not excersizing will be severely damaging to hair growth.

    10 inches of growth is excellent in a year. My hair used to grow 1 inch a month it slowed some but still fast for my age especially when I stopped dying my hair with chemicals. Now I use henna and indigo to dye my hair. It’s a pain in the arse sometimes but worth it. I’m in my 50s and my hair is past bsl.

    • @MichelleIjeoma
      @MichelleIjeoma  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s amazing! I really want to start using indigo because I love jet black hair. I plan to start using it when I start wearing my hair out more at the end of this year.

    I would love to see how you implement Ayurvedic hair care while wearing braids! I have knotless braids and would like to incorporate that as well just don’t know how! Looking forward to great content!!!

      Thank you so much, Laura! I It’s definitely harder to do Ayurvedic treatments with braids because you can’t do weekly masques. However, incorporating the Ayurvedic scalp oil and the Ayurvedic hair moisturizer helps a lot. I actually have a braid maintenance video coming soon. Definitely look out for it! I’m so happy you are excited. I love this!!!! ❤️

    Just recently found your channel and I'm so grateful! I love your content and you are gorgeous! Congratulations on your engagement!! I am now 4 months natural and my goal for 2021 is healthy hair and extreme hair growth. I saw your video on store bought essential oils and vitamins. Going to try the Camille Rose Amla Oil and the Mane Choice hair vitamins for a few months and see how much my hair grows. Thank you!

      Thank you so much, Kayla!!!! ❤️😘 I remember when I first went natural - it’s been an awesome and informative journey to say the least. Honestly, be consistent. Come up with a hair regimen, protective style, deep condition, perform your scalp massages, eat a healthy balanced diet (or supplement your diet with a vitamin), and watch your hair flourish. The Camille rose Amla oil and the Mane Choice Hair vitamins are great selections. I can’t wait to hear more about your journey!!!

    Can you please do a video for men. Men with thinning hair from stress and/or meds, i know I would greatly appreciate it, there are very few videos for black men experiencing hair loss caused by a variety of reasons.

    • @MichelleIjeoma
      @MichelleIjeoma  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching and comment if I’m honest, don’t know too much about thinning from stress or meds so I definitely recommend talking to your physician or a hair specialist. However, my DIY recipes and products mentioned in hair growth videos can work for both men and women. I’ll certainly do some research and try to produce a helpful video. Thank you!

    Great so great full this video was suggested to me to watch because I’m about to start a 15 no ABSN program and I’m looking to do yarn twist for the duration of the program (with breaks in between) to keep my hair protected, not having to worry about styling frequently and gain my inches, plus more, back. So I’m going do this challenge with you I just don’t know if I’ll commit to the daily scalp massage since that I never really keep up doing that I’m the past

    So I have diabetes and high blood pressure my hair keeps shedding do I need protein treatment I have 4chair

    • @MichelleIjeoma
      @MichelleIjeoma  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Considering your medical conditions, I think you should talk to your doctor because the shedding can be a result of your medical conditions and/or any meds you are taking to manage them. I’m not a doctor so I can’t speak to how curb the shedding of it’s a result of your diabetes and/or high blood pressure. Generally speaking, protein treatments help to strengthen and repairs your hair strands, I’m not sure that it addresses shedding from your follicles.

    Did the MSM help in any way?

    • @MichelleIjeoma
      @MichelleIjeoma  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! I definitely believe the supplements, my eating habits, and scalp massages helped with promoting growth - i.e., growing hair out of my scalp. I think the hair treatments helped with length retention - i.e., retaining and preserving that growth that I achieved over time.
