Fun video as always! One of the biggest drawbacks of running those large rotors is that they are more likely to get bent in a crash or if you drag the rear up against a rock and they are heavier if you’re concerned about weight... I’ve seen rotors get bent here in New England occasionally and once you bend one it’s nearly impossible to straighten out and it’s best to replace if the rotor gets out of true. Some guys run a big rotor in front and smaller one in the back since 80% of your braking comes from the front and I’m a big fan of Organic brake pads, they tend to work better for me when they get wet “less squealing” RIDE SMART RIDE SAFE RIDE GEO
Thanks for watching guys and hope I dont hit anything ha ha! I thought about that myself. As for the front and rear sizes think the OCD would kick in and not let me be able to run a 203 and a 180🤣🤣 appreciate the comment and the views fellas! Ride safe

No problem brother, please watch the Zoom brake install video it kinda shows the parts were we do that. But to answer your question yes we switched the levers and not the calipers.

great video i used 203 rottors on my downhill bike, i ended swapping the rear to 180 rotor so i can have more progression and control, so i could slow down instead of abruptally stop. i still have have them on a dirt/downhill 26er bike i built a couple of year ago precisally to help the (bad) brakes i have to stop better, what happened it would either reaaly stop, or once they heated they wouldn't brake at all, after seeing the video i m thinking i'll give them another try, bleed them out and swap the pads for another type.
Right on man, give em another shot. I didnt feel Ny overheating slow drag time and I used the crap out of them on that trail. Mostly front but I completely understand the locking up in the rear. Sometime but not many I can use that to my advantage when riding.
