i feel like this series is gonna be the new original halo trilogy of this decade, the first game has a really really mediocre story like the first halo, the second game refined upon the original idea and had a really decent story and great gameplay that improved upon the first one, and they even have a cliffhanger at the end which means theres going to be a sequel by the looks of things, on top of that its story is unique, im excited to see how the series turns out weve needed a sci fi shooter with a compelling story for a long time now

Mass Effect was that sci-fi shooter we also had Killzone before that which was PS answer to Halo during the PS2-PS4 life cycle. So yeah they're has been plenty of sci-fi shooters on the market. oh look an ultimate edition for like $150, oh its made by ea no wonder.... killzone was boring and didnt even come close to halo, there may be plenty of sci fi shooters on the market, but none of them have decent stories, or are overpriced as hell, it is an injustice that we must pay 80 god damn dollars for an incomplete game and 150 for the rest, titanfall 2 had one price tag and an incredible story and gameplay to run with it, titanfall 2 is a masterpiece and worthy of carrying the sci fi shooter torch, unlike the new mass effect and killzone, its not just about whether the gameplay is good, the story has to be there too we need to encourage studios to put more effort into the campaign
None of those games were $150 though they were $100 for the ultimate edition and nobody is telling you to but that. You can buy the $60 version easily. If you don't support the DLC practice don't spend the money. And Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition had that $100 price tag so I don't know what you're talking about. Every publisher and Dev sell there games roughly at the same price.

That's what makes them good to be honest. Orchestra instrumentals are sadly underrated these days.
