The fact that in asia, marriage is not for bonding. Marriage is supposed to be a bonding thing for two person. But then the guy decides he is going to make his marriage a treaty in which wife has to work whole day. When my mom was married, she had to make food for 10 people all alone, clean house with her own hands no vacuum cleaner, clean dishes all day without dishwasher. My mom never asked anyone for help despite being tired whole day.
This hurts to watch. Any family member could have helped her. It's not about female or male. If i saw any male working this much, or if i saw my dad working this much, i would have felt bad too.
