Yeah that's unfortunate if you're someone that wants to get all of the trophies. If you've bought it fairly recently you could still get the trophies but they've taken all of the dlc off of the store now.
Congrats man! Honestly didn’t even know that this game’s servers were still active. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever played this game’s Multiplayer at all! Maybe if they ever remaster it at some point or if they make a Bad Company 3, I might check it out to see what all I had been missing over the last decade. I’ve heard plenty of good things about it and I don’t really know why EA hasn’t done anything else with the Bad Company series let alone in over a decade’s time. Also, would you be willing to help me platinum the original MW2 at some point? It doesn’t have to be anytime soon (I literally start college today), but I only have a few Spec Ops trophies left and I’d love to knock out the rest of the stars I need for 100% completion!
Thanks. This game's multiplayer was a lot of fun. And to be honest, as much as I would like a Bad Company 3, I really don't trust the EA of today to handle it well. And I also don't have much trust in the industry itself to not have the game come out lackluster or have any bad microtransactions or any kind of shady practices put into it. I would want a Bad Company that's reminiscent of this game's direction and style. If a game like this were to come out today, it'd probably be a live service game. Yeah I can help you with the Spec Ops missions. It's been a long time since I've played though. Congrats on starting college.
How much time do multiplayer trophies takes? I would like to know if I can get them before server shut down when I will probably buy this game on monday
The base game multiplayer could take awhile dude to some trophies being either really tricky or almost impossible to get legit. Like getting 20 demolish kills online, knifing 5 people on your friend list, (or just knifing the same one person on your friend list), and destroying a helicopter with a stationary rpg. Your best bet to get all of the multiplayer in time would be to find a group and boost them. It can still take some time but not as long as it would take for something like BF3. And if you care about DLC you'll want to boost those as well. The SPECACT weapons can be gotten legit but can be an annoying process because those weapons aren't very good imo. Onslaught is a co-op mode so you'll need other people for that, and the Vietnam is pretty much dead so you'll need people to boost the weapon kills for that. Also, the DLC has been delisted so if you don't already have it you can no longer get it.
I got this platinum 1 million years ago before the Vietnam expansion was even a thing so now I have the platinum trophy but not all of the trophies
