He’s an interesting guy. He was a four season varsity high school athlete. I think he was valedictorian or salutatorian of his high school. He started college at Vanderbilt university for engineering and dropped out to pursue music. Some people are just blessed with so many talents and he’s one of those fortunate souls. Smart, athletic and musically gifted. He’s a country artist but a lot of his songs would be technically categorized as blues or R&B. The time signatures the chord progressions the phrasing is blues.

If I could get that guitar for $300 I’d snap it up in an instant. That’s a 1950’s era Gibson LG-2. It’s not all original, so it is a player’s guitar, but that ain’t no $300 by any means
@srhodes6963 It's what he paid for it at a second hand store. He had to basically replace everything but the body. He has alluded to picking mud out of the body in the rebuild process. That was also a fair number of years ago. Admittedly calling it a $300 Guitar at this point is a bit of an exaggeration, but I just thought it was cool that he saw what it could be (back when he had more time than money).

Finally had to pick myself up and get back in the saddle.. Like you said, crying isn't always bad.. It really does cleanse the soul to a point.
