Yeah I don't give a damn about his career being cut short he was going to be in the HALL if he hadn't gotten hurt put him in there and they keep putting these kats in it that I don't think they need to be in its right now and JJ should be in the hall too
My favorite Washington R always have been when this man threw 5 picks against Dallas on his birthday I almost cried when this man gotten his leg broken on MNF I cried MY MAN
Man as the years go by I realize how great Joey T really was. And thats not to say I never felt that way cause I did. He's a DC god. But compared to the soft ass quarterbacks of today that cry foul if they're even touched it just reaffirms how tough the Joe Theismans of the world really were. Racked up the same yardage as they do today while getting smoked 5 times a game by the Lawrence Tailors, Reggie Whites and Derrick Thomas's of the league. Could hardly walk the next day but ready for Sunday 6 days later. Mens men. Good grab boys love me some Joe.
There is absolutely no reason that Joe Theismann shouldn't be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He made me into a football and Washington Redskins fan in 1978 when I'd never paid attention to the games before. He was a true football hero to me, took his team to two Super Bowls, was MVP - if he had been on the roster for just several year instead of all those years before in waiting, he merits being in the HOF just for the 1982-1985 seasons. Please, HOF officials, induct Joe Theismann!
