As usual great insights! Thank you for all you do to keep us informed and thank you for providing us with realistic reports not just a bunch of overexhuberiant BS hype! Great job!
John I really appreciate how you will say you don’t know rather than some bullshit speculation. You do a great job with reporting this team. I really think Daniels will be good. I can’t wait to hear something about Coleman. If he becomes a good starter also it would be epic.
The kid has the "it factor" - The team will gravitate to him and follow him. Has all the tools to be the CEO. Humble spirit as well. He's a winner! Let's enjoy the process of success #HAIL
Thanks for your excellent reporting, John. Since everything is new, I am interested in how quickly everyone is picking up the new offense. If you have gotten the chance to watch both QBs operate the offense, how do you feel JD is picking it up in comparison to Mariotta?
It's good to hear the coaches believe they are ahead of where they expected with the playbook, and it seems the players at this point are buying into it. Nothing worse than players not liking the schemes because they don't fit the players they have or are too predictable. The players still play, but it has to affect their willingness to give up their bodies. I think the quality and personality of the coaches and the new veteran presence also helps. Veteran players came here for less money/years than offered by other teams. Most of us understand that this isn't a year 1 finished product.
Thanks for the Day 1 report..As we ALL KNOW, learning and progressing is Great, but until the REAL bullets start flying, we don't know how Daniels will handle the pressure.
If the Redskins can win 8 games I will be happy. I don't expect them to make the playoffs this year. They need more players through the draft especially on the offensive line. I do expect them to be more competitive however.
That pitch was terrible. Especially for high level athlete and a NFL qb. I was disappointed with that since they were talking about it and raised my expectations. He’s obviously never played baseball. Best thing about the pitch is he didn’t injure himself. Anyway, looking forward to seeing him in action on the football field.
Things being different was the point of firing Ron Rivera and hiring Dan Quinn. People think I'm an eternal pessimist but I consider myself a realist. I have very low expectations for this season. This is a patchwork roster installing a new offense, a new defense, new special teams, a new QB, new rules, etc. There is absolutely no comparison between Houston's situation last season and Washington's this season and expecting the same result is unreasonable.
Fair assessment, however I really don’t think the roster is as bad as the 4-13 record. EBs offense for whatever reason was worse than Scott Turner’s. There were a couple instances where receivers were in the same area during routes. Plus defenses would say our offense was easy to defend. On defense the zone match scheme & having cornerbacks 7 yards off the receiver was just a bad system in my opinion. I think we are running press man this year. The roster looks like a 7 or 8 win team which could be better if Jayden is the real deal & the defense is actually fixed.
Anyone else catch Agility Coach John Keim's display of elite quickness @ 23:55. 😂😂 Keim is so pure.

Yeah looking forward to Coleman.. we just can’t tell until the pads go on unfortunately. Hopefully he just keeps working
Thanks for the update John

I keep seeing Mason Brooks snapping the ball to Daniel’s. Are they looking at him to play some center?

Why everyone isn’t there @ 6am (early) on a 4-13 last year is beyond me. They should all be getting there with Jayden!

I agree with your assessment, I only hope for the best outcome possible.
Well for one, Houston was/is in a MUCH WEAKER Division...
