- Welcome to my new video series where I will be playing the game Deth Wizards from Snarling Badger Studios. In this video, my Necromancer is going to rob a graveyard...

Love the fact that you are flashing those stat cards up. All displayed information while the action is happening adds to the immersion, and helps show the game mechanics a lot better.
Thanks, David... appreciate the kind words.
Loving your table there Big Guy!!!!!! Grateful that there are more Deth Wizards games up!!!!! I just ordered my book and cards:)!!! Great job Buddy!!!!!
Hope you enjoy the game when you get your book.
That Corpse Bomb ability reminds me of the Corpse Explosion ability that the necromancer class in the Diablo series can use.
Best videos on Deth Wizard so far 👍🏼 Love that crazy corpse bomb! But I think the Paladin's ability doesn't work on that roll as it doesn't use power dice. Also on the 1st turn, your Necromancer should have activated 1 more time before the villager despite having no minions to activate. Keep up the great work!
Not sure about that 3rd activation. I'll have to go look but I think the necro activates at a minimum twice, but after that only when minions are available to activate. Will look over the rules again to confirm. Thanks.I'll check that Paladin ability, too.
I think (with corpse bomb) the spell is used on the creature, not the paladin. The paladin is effected by the fragmentation effect of the exploding body.
Forgot to subtract 1 damage from skeletons
Definitely enjoying these Deth Wizards play throughs. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them! I've got a few more already played and editing the video, so more to come.
Really enjoying this series of videos. Where did you get the trees you are using on your boards? May also have to make a turn table like you are using.
They are from MyMiniFactory - 3d Printed. Creator is RocketPig
Excellent fun, really enjoying this series. I played this mission with a friend in co-op and we got wrecked by there being 6 paladins and actually failed the mission - one more turn would have done it. One thing I noticed - you are not using the Priest or the Paladin's range stat when you roll for them, so you're moving them into close combat - when I played it they were attacking when we got within 12", which made them a lot more powerful - not sure if I'm doing it right?
Yeah, I wondered about that but the action card specifically states to make a move action and then to make another move action if they can't engage. You're probably right, that as long as they are within range. I'll try to remember that.
@@thetabletopengineerplays Think it works with either interpretation really, just made it more difficult with us having to close in as it gave them an extra round of attacks in effect - either way, I'm really enjoying watching your play through!
