As long as Teddy is their main producer as a group, I don't think Blackpink will sway away from the girl boss/badass/girl crush title tracks. AIIYL, Whistle and Lovesick girls were some exceptions as those are their only title tracks that are leaning to mid tempo. Their discography has very little variation too and honestly, their ballads/slow tracks were never their strongest asset. You Never Know, The Happiest Girl and even Stay were somewhat forgettable. This is why they're banking on their strengths which is the badass concept. I realize, this may be the reason why they don't have frequent comebacks. It's jarring to have a badass concept every time. Mind you, they comeback once in a blue moon but some fans still get sick of the repetitive formula. But this is a great concept! Good effort!
