This is the first video I have looked at that is useful. The majority of videos seem to consist of some twit showing off his undoubted talent, but tells me nothing about how to use the tool. Thank you for providing a solid tutorial, rather than an ego trip. Great stuff!
I agree with the gentlemen below: THANK YOU. I’ve got little kids and no time - you turned my Trio+ from a paperweight into a tool of inspiration and joy. You are the MAN.
Brilliant straightforward demo man - thanks so much. I've had the trio plus for a few years and I feel guilty that I haven't been utilising the full potential it has more. You've inspired me.
Really good, practical demo. I noted on another youtube clip, some were complaining that they were yet to see a demo of someone recording an actual song, well, here it is, and the end-product is pretty good (for the majority of players). I note that it comes with an SD card that allows you to record 12 songs. I've learned you can buy extra cards, so the amount of songs.tracks you can lay down becomes limitless.
Sir you have made the world a better place than when you found it. Thought I had bought a pricey fishing lure but you really made it easy for me! You may now take my sister.
Got to say thanks a lot for this video. Managed to pick up a mint used trio + which arrived late yesterday. Had an hour with it last night learnt a bit. Came across your dock of the bay video and WOW, followed it and it worked brilliantly. Not perfect but it’s a start. Thanks again.
I had this pedal for a few years now and I never realized it’s potential so I haven’t touched it that much since I got it. Feeling inspired by this video
Nice demo of a practical exercises using the Trio plus. I had one several months ago and had great fun with it but eventually got a bit bored and sold it. However although I play with others now I started to look around for something that would help if the drummer of bass player couldn't manage and just bought another Trio Plus. I've also bought a beatbuddy mini so I can compare them. Your demo is one of the best in how to use the Trio Plus in s practical way.
Hi. I' ve a Trio plus, and I want buy a beatbuddy mini, just to add a drum to guitar, to sing as a one man band. According to your experience, do you suggest me to buy beatbuddy mini? Does it work good? Grazie
Nice demo just one question. I noticed you armed the loop and as soon as you started playing it automatically started recording. What I didn’t see was how you stopped the recording of the loop
To me it seems the bass was a little late in spots. OK for practice but wondering if you can actually use this live. Anyone here doing it? I'd like to hear the same done with the more complicated bass lines. Great video! This pushes me over the edge of buying one
This demo inadvertently shows what is the Trio+'s biggest weakness, in my opinion. The Trio+'s backing tracks (bass & drums) can only sync to downbeats. Some chord changes in so many songs in rock & pop, begin on an upbeat, usually the upbeat of four, which is exactly what occurs with about half the chord changes in this song. Notice that about half the chords of the looped guitar parts come in a half beat before the bass and drums. Sorry if any of you were blissfully unaware of this because you will not be able to unhear it now. My guess is the bean counters, not the musicians, at Digitech made the decision to limit the Trio+ to downbeats to save on development costs, and rush this thing to market. If Digitech included just the upbeat of four, they would have made this device so much more useful as a tool for musicians.
Just ordered one with the three button footswitch. Do you think the footswitch is needed since you can sequence the song parts in any order you want? Verse Verse Chorus Verse Chorus Bridge Verse
I've been looking for cable near the microchip to download to computer?? The normal cable doesn't seem to work o usb port?? Do you know where I can get one that works. Thanks
Also you dont actually need to match the speed in each section, as you may have a really spacey chorus and the timing of drums etc will be way off, BUT when you sequence them it all comes out ok
Hello Freemeg, would please post chords for song? I can find the chords myself, but I want to try it with my trio and compare the results :) still learning it and fighting with it, but love it ! :)
Many thanks for that simple and concise demo. QUESTION - How many songs/tunes can you store on this pedal (or can you only do one tune/song at a time and then have to overwrite it?

Jim nails it. This is the BEST operation demo I have ever seen - and I have searched believe me!!
You did in 5 minutes what takes others an hour to explain.😎🎸 👍🇨🇦

Very Informative and Inspiring Thanks So much.
Thanks bro, i’ve seen so many videos trying to understand the basics of the trio but yours is the first one, clear and objective, thanks a lot!!
Thanks for this - straight forward video with a great song!
Push & hold... don’t recall that anywhere in the manual... you just saved me a ton of time. 🙏🙏🙏

Brilliant you explained so much that I couldn't find in the menu - RESPECT!
Just got a Trio+ and started to use it. This takes me a bit further. Great stuff! Thanks
I’m going to paste your YT link in my Sweetwater review as the most useful tutorial on this piece of gear. :)

Thanks for making it clear. A nice round of applause for you.
Great video!
Thanks for the clarity 👍
I watched it earlier then went on eBay to win one at auction 😎
Thank you so much for this simplified and clear instructional video. Now I know how to record and play a song. Thank you!!
That’s a great practical demo’ man.
Thank you, so much, for explaining everything, in a somewhat easy and informative way!!!
Wow. Thanks! I have one and had no idea how do what you just showed in 5 mins. Thanks again!
Great stuff
Thanks for tutorial - I just bought one of these and going thru the learning curve
is it harder than it looks?
feels like all these reviewers are pretty good at it... too goood lol
Agreed!
Brilliant demo !!

Pretty cool.
You should do more of these R&B 60's songs, nobody explains it as well as you do
Great and very helpful video! How do you make the ending of a song though? like a finale or smth, not to end, you know, suddenly. Thanks!

Excelent demo.
Mine plays one pass and stops. Is there a way to clear it? Zero out, return to factory setting? Help!

Can you move the arrangement to a cd?
How do you get the audible click count in?
Thanks
👍
Guys here is another great video on what you can do with this with cover tunes!

Many thanks for that simple and concise demo.
QUESTION - How many songs/tunes can you store on this pedal (or can you only do one tune/song at a time and then have to overwrite it?
Hi Ray, 12 songs max stored to SD card.
Can it not just record the whole song in one simple take?
yeah the manual is totally crap at explaining this
So not really usable in real time at a gig wiith multiple parts on the fly..
Nice demo, the only complaint is that the guitar was slightly out of tune.
and i thought it was just me
