FAMU naturally entertains through talent, musicianship, originality, IDENTITY, tradition, and everything else that so many other bands mimic. Here's a little history lesson: Sir Dr. William P. Foster, the founder of the "100" is also the founder of the entire STYLE AND FORMULA OF ALL HBCU BANDS. He created the entrance, drill, concert selection, dance routine, exit equation.
I'm a formal memeber of the 100 and I would say BCU dance routine was better to me due to I saw the same show the entire year and it was a good show but BCU was something new that we haven't saw not to proud to say the Pride did their thang!!!! I really only like the ending of the dance routine but i'm a fan of both schools we got to stop going back and 4th and just show up on the field
I love both of these bands damn near equally..NOBODY can put on halftime shows like them..NOBODY. I would give the slight edge to the 100 in half time but I think BCC's last part saved them...I like the "fall out and die" at the end lol...one of these days i'm going to make it to a florida classic.
After this show from last year, I am sure Famu is going to TRY and avenge somethings. I can't wait. This is going to be the biggest FL Classic game since 2003. Let's Go Wildcats!!!

Didn't the "100" end the show with "Who run it a few classics back?" I guess now all the FAMU rejects and former FAMU band campers can finally say they got a change to play 20th Century fanfare..Cookman ripped it....HA!
Dissapointed? why? Only about 10-15% of crowed were in ATL and Orlando. The "100" has and will continue to use the same method..different cities, same show or a variation of.

It's not hate. I have respect for Cookmans band and have great friendship with many of the Bruhs and Soros from their chapters of KKPsi and TBS. Are they a good band? Yes. A very consistant band at that. Are they a Great band? No. Year after year they do things that shoot themselves in the foot. i.e. the eaxact same show minus ONE change of formation and those dry boring concert selections. Everything I stated previously are facts, not hate/smack talk.

BCU was also very childish and disrespectfull wit BLASTING (not playing) 20th century. but the fake was great. and it took Horatio 2 say rattlers like 20 times jus for yall 2 get house. all in all FAMU had a sub par show and BCU was jus above average. so it took a sub par show 4rm the 100 for BCU 2 come out on top?

I am not an alumni of either of these two HBCU's, and both bands are excellent. However, after viewing both halftime shows, I cannot agree that BCU had the better show. Again while both shows were highly impressive, FAMU band played more music during their dance routine while BCU announcer, did more talking. Sorry, if i had to declare a winner, as difficult as it may be, it would certainly be FAMU.

A year later and I'm still confused on how BCC thinks they got the 100. I don't go to either school and its obvious FAMU had the better show. If it wasn't for the "imitation" of the 100 and the annoucer's diss that show would have got minimal applause. Yes BCC played more up to date music but no one over 25 knew those songs. the Classic is usually filled with Alumni. Also if you have to diss someone you feel threaten by them.. we will see whats in store next year.
You can even look at the past 3 FL Classic Halftime shows for BCU and see the ONLY thing different in their drill is the picture they make. I along with numerous people have said, BCU needs to find their own identity. So until Cookman can do something highly recognizable that they can call their own the will always and continue to be just a "Good Band."
So, we spell BCU on the field, and are cordial, classy and show great sportsmanship, but they bag on our announcer, mock our show, and tell us to lay down and die. Great sportsmanship BCU! The show was childish and very ignorant. And why spend so much time killin' us when you can simply put on your own show? BCU is all on our stuff instead of being original and puttin' on a great performance. I am a "100" member and a Wildcat fan. The show was good, but lack of maturity prevents greatness.
