I was ill in hospital with pneumonia aged 12 he came and signed a programme for me as I couldn't go to the show, and 3 dancers came and gave it me in hospital. So if he ever reads this (doubt it) but thank you so much!
I was there in 2007 I’m 25 years old todsy! It was amazing experience! In the end he given me a wink and thumbs up when my grandma ran me straight to the front of him and he did this to me ❤
I went to see Celtic Tiger reluctantly and I have to say it was the best performance of any kind I have ever seen!! It was f*%king brilliant! I loved it and the video here is nothing compared to seeing it live. WoW!
Just watched the whole show from "The Heartbeat of the Tiger" to "The Celtic Tiger". Absolutely loved every minute of it. I got a history lesson a dance lesson and got entertained from begining to end. With a little bit of a biography on Michael. You see how much he loves Ireland and he still loves and hasn't forgoton his roots here in the States.
Je suis fan de ce grand Monsieur un grand bravo à ses danseurs et les musiciens et tous les techniciens, cameraman tous ceux qui sont dans l'ombre que dire ... Merci
@Browncoatt22 because of him , you're culture is known all over the world. I'm from Romania, and only after seeing him on tv I started searching for Irish music, and fall in love with it
this show blew Riverdance and Lord of the Dance right out of the water... i have one question though... how on earth do they keep such perfect time? I take Irish Dancing... would love to learn from Michael Flatley though... he is unbelievably talented
@IvliaC That should be fun!!! My favorite is Feet of Flames. I also know people in it!! Riverdance was also amazing! And Michael Flately was the first person to create this big of a show.
That is the official word from Flatley & Co... It will take a little while to get the world tour back in order, but Michael WILL be with them in full force.
nice! a little bit of a 'dancing in the dark' mix and a 'these colours don't run' repeat! awesome number. I'm glad to post my comments on all your clips, except for one, and I hope I hear from you of what you think of what I said. see ya!
he is coming back.. the days are counting down.. he is over his illness and working out daily at his castle.. he will be rejoining his crew when Celtic Tiger goes back on the wold tour..
I'm an Irish dancer, so yeah, I can dance like that. I'm not quite at his level, but I can definitely do similar stuff, because I've been dancing for 9 years
have you ever noticed that michael flatley's taps don't sound like everyone elses? thats because he has steel taps and not hard shoes like the rest of the cast.
I so agree. I am from America, but my ancesters are from Scottland, Ireland, and all that. Nothing can compare to the true ways of Irish dancing. I agree, Michael Flatley lost it with his style of dancing. When I first saw his new shows, I was sad. I loved his true Irish form, but now its not the same. Its a shame.
Didn't you see all the show? It's clear why this part is in. Simple: act one - Irish history, act two - history of people who had to leave Ireland, came to USA and found there a new home. When I saw this part without all "Celtic Tiger", I didn't like it either. But now it's one of my favourites :)
i must admit his age doesnt bother me...but as hes nearly 50(i think) then hes bveen dancing for 46 years....his legs are almost shot...i think you can expect this to be the last show hell make....damn...THAT MAN HAS SOME BLOODY MAGNIFICENT TALENT...also feck the haters
when will everyone get it into their heads, he has never been traditional, it's the same old argument, nobody likes seeing something new, i am of irish decent and appreciate the traditional way of dancing but this is a twist on an old theme and i think it's brilliant
Personal opinion: Success though it was, I still think River Dance would could have been even better if they'd kept Flatley. The man has stage presence, charisma, and easy, sexy style that makes him attractive to the audience and - clearly - he infects the supporting dancers with his character and makes them all the better for it. But then, maybe he'd not gone on to produce even better shows than River Dance!
@yobalthazar What do you mean my culture? Im not Irish, I'm English. I just think what he's done is a huge cash-in on something that once upon a time he had some respect and understanding for.
But it comes off like he's not that creative, which judging by the shows you named, he most certainly is. I would have liked to have seen something different than Planet Ireland reformed...
@Slytherinsrule316 I'm sorry have you even seen all the dances of Celtic Tiger? watch the 1996 lord of the dance premiere at dublin theatre and the 1997 New York riverdance and then come back here and try saying that again, this show was terrible
yea, what's irish about him now? Celtic Tiger isn't. His costumes aren't. And not even his shoes are irish. That shoes are used for jazz tap (you see, AMERICAN), he was born in America. Yeah, he's totally irish....of course.....
is it just me or ist kinda getting old him recycling this stuff? dont get me wrong i loved lord of the dance, feet of flames was good but there wasnt tooo much new things and this is just blah to me...am i the only one?
I don't like what Flatley has done to the irish dancing show. He has people singing in english, fairy costumes and rock music. It's no longer traditional, it has no soul.
@Slytherinsrule316 I'm sorry have you even seen all the dances of Celtic Tiger? watch the 1996 lord of the dance premiere at dublin theatre and the 1997 New York riverdance and then come back here and try saying that again, this show sucks and totally tore all credibility that Flatley had

Michael Flatley is the best! I love the way he dances! He enjoys what he does, which is rare these days
I always have enjoyed watching Michael Flatley. He has so much energy.
This is amazing!! I so wish I was there. I would have been going crazy. Michael Flatley is a genius!!
I was there in 2007 I’m 25 years old todsy! It was amazing experience! In the end he given me a wink and thumbs up when my grandma ran me straight to the front of him and he did this to me ❤

this is one of the best thing both of my eyes have ever seen :D

Great Production. BRAVO!
Je suis fan de ce grand Monsieur un grand bravo à ses danseurs et les musiciens et tous les techniciens, cameraman tous ceux qui sont dans l'ombre que dire ... Merci
Being the 4th of July, watching this gave me goosebumps!!
@Browncoatt22 because of him , you're culture is known all over the world. I'm from Romania, and only after seeing him on tv I started searching for Irish music, and fall in love with it
yay! if it comes ANYWHERE near me i will *so* be there!!! can't wait to see him!

Tökéletes, felülmúlhatatlan !
Gratulálok!
just one word:
WOW
I hope sometime I get to meet him! Hes so amazing!
Michael Flatley gives an awesome performance!
absolutely love how the sounds of the taps were incorporated into the actual sound of the music! too bad he's not dancing any more...
I found a new love...lol I love to watch him dance.
this dvd was recorded at the Birmingham NIA, 2007 I believe
this show blew Riverdance and Lord of the Dance right out of the water... i have one question though... how on earth do they keep such perfect time? I take Irish Dancing... would love to learn from Michael Flatley though... he is unbelievably talented

Flatley ist der Tanzkönig. Absolute Magie
@jbsmart100 I saw this show way back when it was on tour five years ago and it was amazing.
That is the official word from Flatley & Co... It will take a little while to get the world tour back in order, but Michael WILL be with them in full force.
WONDERFUL!!!!!
pure class, moved away from tradition a bit which can be good and bad but i love it
@irishdancer7513 that's true.... I simply adore Lord of the Dance and I'm going to see it THIS MONTH and I'm sitting in the third row!!!!!
Lord of dance !
I think it is just AMAZING!
This is one of his best performance!
(cause he is not topless at last XD )
GREATEST EVER

i went to this concert!!!!!
I'm an Irish dancer, so yeah, I can dance like that. I'm not quite at his level, but I can definitely do similar stuff, because I've been dancing for 9 years

I like the music, can somebody help me and send me a link, just with the music of this video? Thanks!
A lot of the tapping in this is the same as in Planet Ireland, yes.
@IvliaC he WAS still a great dancer and a great choreographer. he may not be great anymore but he was before...

Ho my god he so cute
very marvilous and highly tasteful i recommend him for (LONDON 2012 ) opening plz nominate 4 dat
He sure looks great for someone that'll be turning 50 this year.
echt geil super
@bessarion123 I can't find the right video.. Can you send me a link from youtube? Thanks!
I used this in one of my videos
we do this at my studio, but this is cooler. and it's really hard!
the day i meet michael flatley, i'm going to die!
when and where this took place???
are you serious??? It would be so great! I've dreamt about seeing him at the stage, but thought it would never happen again...
Well some fans do, because a lot of Lord of the Dance dancers were in the crowd.
Szia Halmayg!

"Yankee Doodle Dandy" at around 4:55

McLovin makes his entre at 2:03
it always stops.it cuts my concentrated.but perfectttt
true... it's a kick seeing here but be careful
I don't care about his ancestry. Public seems to like him, and I agree with them.
You'd never know with how all the shows seem to sell out or how the crowd is reacting.
Apart why he walks around the stage is to have a short rest or because he is a driector and he is!
just looking that everything is O.K.

UM! Is this not just Planet Ireland recycled?
難得一見
I think
haha the best is when you realize that you know he made it with those two girls the other night on the tour bus.
@IvliaC its IRISH dancing if there was no IRISH dancing Micheal Flatley wouldnt be known DUHH
But it comes off like he's not that creative, which judging by the shows you named, he most certainly is. I would have liked to have seen something different than Planet Ireland reformed...
wow...im sorry...for being off by 7 years...lol
There was NO tiger in any territory occupied by the Celts in the entire history.
@Slytherinsrule316 I'm sorry have you even seen all the dances of Celtic Tiger? watch the 1996 lord of the dance premiere at dublin theatre and the 1997 New York riverdance and then come back here and try saying that again, this show was terrible
Ah come on.. lighten up..

This is the saddest thing I've ever seen....
Who gives a shit if a he reused some of "his own dance moves".
I realize Flatley is a non-conformist when it comes to Irish dance, but this show is just a mess.
Michael Flatley is such a joke. Can anybody else see how absolutely ridiculous this is besides me?
its... just not the same...I dont like it honestly
Very bad video editing job.
