The M1 Carbine you called rough and junky is the only one you've shown that's in original configuration and wasn't re-built for the Korean war. That makes it exceptionally rare and the fact it's Rockola is even better. IT IS NOT JUNK.

Listening to him talk about getting rid of the P08s in the case scares me to death he will do something stupid with them like a buy back or destroy them to "fight nazis" simply becuase they have a WW2 German acceptance mark.
I beg this channels creator, please let these treasures of military surplus and the like live on and go to collectors who will store and keep these history relics for all time.

A kid in flip flops rifling through historical firearms like their garbage. You've got the makings of the museum right there. What's even stranger is they've just been sitting in these boxes all these years. If I had some of those nice firearms, they would be in their own cases on display or in a proper safe with humidity control.. Either way they would be properly cleaned and oiled and stored correctly. It's a disgrace to find them like this, and that someone actually stored them like this.

@@charlesmckinley29 The discretion shown by an older and more mature collector would increase the potential gain from this sale by several times over. The lack of knowledge on certain fine points will cost him a lot of money; this isn't unloading a typical estate sale. Not with these pieces, and the quantity. He really should turn this sale over to a reputable firearms auction house like Rock Island or Murphy's if he wants to maximize his good fortune. Otherwise he's another idiot who won a lottery and fritters it all away.
Dude, if you are reading this, there is a lot of good advice in this thread. It's up to you as the new owner to make the most of this. Call up the auction houses; all the info is on the internet. They have handled big sales like this before and maximized the gain. You'll thank all of us later when you can retire off the proceeds. Nambu type 14 in 8mm, the other unusual pistol is a Lathi 9mm it's a straight blowback. It's a bit of a pain taking the Lathi apart, BE CAREFUL The Beretta, If you see roman numerals on it, it means the year it was made DURING fascist rule. From 1922 to 1943. Example; XVI means the 16th year of fascist rule. So it put is at 1938. The second Rockrolla is a Type 1. It SHOULD have a flat bolt. Push button safety, and mag release . Type 2 had the round bolt, heavier stock And bayonet lug, this was done very late 44-45. The Lugar with the long barrel is either an Artillery or Naval Lugar. Black grips are nicknamed Black Widow. The were SUPPOSEDLY given to SS members. Most of the Lugers were given to ardent NAZI's. Be careful with them. The triggers are REALLY touchy. And IF you want to go see modern 9mm ammo, the bullet well that HAS to be between 90&100 gr. It has to be a FULL. Metal Jacket, velocity Has to be OVER 1300fps. My suggestion is .380 PROJECTILES in reloading. .380 and 9mm BULLETS are the same diameter, it's the casing that is different.

IMO the most valuable things in the video are the comments of the knowlegable historians, enthusiast and Military persons that recognized many of the guns shown. I reviewed these while the Tic Toc style video played to guage what was potentialy in the collection. It seems there is a great opportunity to generate cash and enhance the collections of many people if this resource is tapped. It is of course your style and your purchase to do with as you will. All in all intresting.

Not gonna lie this is both beautiful and terrifying. If I were you, I'd get in contact with an expert or two and be careful as hell. And not just because of the value some of this stuff has. There is a very real chance that there's something explosive in there. The number of times someone's gone through grandpa's stuff and found a grenade is startlingly large.

It also would have been cool to get a little backstory on the lot you bought. Where you heard about it. How you got hooked up with the people. What you paid even. I know you probably dont want to mention that part because i get a sneaking suspicion that the people selling them all didnt have the best understanding of the rarity of a bunch of the stuff. Especially the Nazi crap. There are fewer and fewer decent examples of them as time goes by and they will only continue to rise in price.

that clip that you asked what it was, is a clip of 303 british. and was used in all of the british army for ages. It was introduced into the british army and commonwealth around the boer war era for rifles like the MLE Carbine and the lee Enfield Martini MK1, Then it was used throughout the lee Enfield Smle range the mk1 to mk5 rifles. It was also use for the vickers lewis and the bren machine guns.
