I make those record covers. Can make 'em with some backer board or something, a regular glue stick, and maybe some packing tape. Done it for 7", 10" and 12" records.
@ThatVinylChannel Its really not hard, nor does it take awhile. I just took one apart and use that as a trace thing. Trace the perimeter on the backer board, then fold in all the right places, glue it. I have an old book I set on it for a couple hours. Its actually kinda fun. I have like 30 records that I bought for the music and the art. So I put the record cover in a frame made for displaying albums, then keep the vinyl in my collection, so I can get to it easy.
What a great idea. It would never have crossed my mind to do this. I come across a lot of maxi singles in those generic cardboard sleeves. What an excellent PSA ! Thank you for passing this on. Happy new year 🎉
I have bought junk 45s for their sleeves before. Especially on odd labels. I have Joy by Apollo 100 on a 45; on Mega. I didn't have a factory sleeve for it. I was out one day and found A Lenny Welch or something stuck in a Mega Records sleeve. I bought it for $1.00. I used to try to get and Target Capitol sleeve I could get my hands on also.
Yes, I have bought 45s for the sleeves. Sometimes, I have been known to swap around the sleeves to get sleeves I need on 45s that I plan to buy anyway. It's a bit sneaky but it works.
Great idea.

Awesome. I am not sure I could make time for that though. I wish I had the time.

@@jabberdouche Nice! If I ever need to I'll give it a shot.
It would be great to see a video on how you do it.

A great idea! But Chic isn't album-oriented rock.
Nope, it's Disco.
Thanks for overexplaining something that is 100% common sense 😄
That's what I am here for!
Believe it or not... There are lots of people that have not been doing this long enough for it to be common sense yet.
