I watched some videos with Harbeth with different equipment, and everyone likes me. Obviously, videos are not a substitute for dedicated listening. But it is a happy coincidence to realize the great performance of these loudspeakers regardless of the setup.

Robil to dla mnie pewien fachowiec, ktory zajmuje sie modyfikacjami nie tylko wzmacniaczy ale takze DACow i cd playerow. Tez mi modyfikowal pozniej DACa i odtwarzacz CD. Pewnie ze porownywalem z roznymi Heglami m.in. z H300 i HD25.
Panele które masz za kolumnami znacznie poprawiają akustyke pomieszczenia? Bo myślę nad takimi plus z wełny panele właśnie za kolumnami, bo ściana jest zupełnie pusta.

@@serzillo4231 Boring, flat, liveless, no emotion, no engagement to the music. H200 that was my first serious amp, after i heard that for the half of price i can get much better sound i sold it immiedietly.
Patryks26 I have a Hegel 190, CD Primare 35 Monitor Audio Gold 300, this kit gives me good sound, I'm wondering which amp you chose over your Hegel 200, I'm just wondering which is better than the Hegel amplifier ????
@@serzillo4231 I heard that the new serie of Hegel amps is already much better than the old one (H70, H80, H100, H200, H300). Exposure 3010S2 was much better than H200 but finally i chose Triode TRX-1 preamp plus TRX-P6L stereo power amp.
It depends what you like. Adamantes are great speakers, they reproduce all 3D soundstage. SHL5 are for me just a studio monitors, the sound doesn't peel off the speakers. It's soft and smooth but doesn't create the 3D soundstage like Adamantes does.

Is the sound of Adamantes saturated and full or lean towards leaner side? Do they truly fill the space with music that is heard coming not from the box but from the surroundings?
Yes i am really satisfy from my current system. I have Adamantes already almost 1 year and i am not thinking to change them. Harbeths i had only 6 months and always i was missing something in their sound. Adamantes are really saturated like you said and the sound is very juicy :) And they are good partner for the tube amplifiers.

It touches me. The flutes, the decent voice... Guitars are easy but the sound is not artificially colorated lile some tube systems are or dynaudios but naturally emotional. Captivating without blurring the transients. And all this even with Hegel! Try out with Croft, Exposure or the like.

my Hegel H80 was a let down - no low level slam, bloom or detail - nowhere near as holographic as a Creek Destiny 2 in my system with HL5's, a Telefunken E88CC tube line stage and a Benchmark DAC1 - you decide ....
rkt31 rkt31 I think you’ll find the majority of Harbeth owners buy theses speakers to listen to vocals, jazz, classical and laid back signature tunes... You pick the speaker according to your music tastes and theses are not for “fast” tracks....

No bylo kilka zestawow kolumn :) Ceny uzywany Hegli dyktuje norweski rynek. Jak dasz za wysoka cene to kazdy woli sobie sprowadzic uzywke z Norwegii.

Nie powiedzialbym ze znacznie. Na pewno jest lepiej niz z pusta sciana. Nie ma przynajmniej echa. Mysle ze dyfuzory lepiej by sie sprawdzily.

Strange fishbowl lens make the speakers look strange but damn they sure do sound nice even over youtube.
It's Panasonic 7-14mm F/4,0 (H-F007014E) lens but really speakers looks strange :)

How do you like the combo of hegel and beth's? I have the same speaker hooked up with electrocompaniet, i'm thinking on getting hegel.
I didn't like this combo. I already sold it. Much better combo with SHL5 is for example Exposure 3010 S2.

What kind of modification you made to H200?
In the sound that was a huge difference but from the electronic side i am not a specialist to talk about this.

I had M30.1 in my listening room also. They perform better vocals in my opinion but as a complete speaker SHL5 are better.

I had the H200 and traded it in for an Accuphase E-600.

I'm a Hegel fan and always will be, but Accuphase seriously nice stuff

Bass is like it has lost all of its punch and someone has strangled it. No feel of foot tapping either.
How can you tell? You are probably listening to your computerspeakers.

Atleast someone tried some fast music on these harbeth and as expected these seem to fail utterly and sound restrained in conveying the fast rhythm.
