I always thought a group of people only a few inches tall walking around in a busy city in the middle of the day was a very dangerous thing to do. It would only be a matter of time until one of them ended up in someones pocket or purse.
It's a shame the series never got a third season, being I've got the feeling Irwin Allen had a conclusion for the series. Besides the travelers getting back home to Earth, but would have introduced that several parties of Earth Government knew about that space worm hole & the Giants already. But didn't want the general public to know about it.......

Such a great show. This episode is a favorite of mine, but then there isn't one among all 51 episodes I don't like. 😊

Its upsetting when a series just ends because it wasn't picked up again. I have a few old programs in DVD like this. Including this series...

Allen did the same thing with lost in space. All those series should be brought back with some up grades
