At 17:27 you state that you could move the dress to the fireworks display at the end of the game, However I believe that you can only move dresses from the top center Great Hall. That is why there are no bonuses in the Great Hall for dresses. Great play through, received my copy yesterday.
@@slickerdrips That rule has not changed from the original Rococo. From the original rulebook: "To each Fireworks Decoration space that has your Property marker on it, you may now assign 1 of your Dresses from the King’s hall (the hall beneath the Terrace)."

Rococo is such a great game. I really don't like this gaudy new art though. I have Jewelry box, Christmas dresses, and the other promo dresses for the original version. I just wish I could get that new expansion and the solo mode for it. Other than the those two things and having a score track, I really feel this is an inferior version.
If Madame du Barry draws a resource action that takes resources from all three drawers but one of the drawers is empty, does she earn 3 prestige points? Or does that only apply if she is unable to take resource tiles at all
Hi Michael! Madame du Berry does earn 3 points if a drawer is empty. From the rulebook: "If the depicted drawers or drawer spaces are all empty, Madame du Barry gains 3 Prestige points instead." Was this missed in the playthrough? If so let me know the timestamp I will get a note added in the Klingon subtitles.
Hi! It’s not missing it’s just that there might be a situation where she grabs one from each drawer. But what if she could only grab from 2 drawers and the 3rd drawer was empty? Does she just take the 2 out of 3 tiles? Or is that 3 points for the Madame because she wasn’t able to grab a 3rd tile from the 3rd drawer? Hope that makes sense
@@DarktanUnicorn Hey Michael! I think I get it now. Thanks for your clarification on the question. Madame du Berry only gets the 3 points if ALL the drawers are empty. In your example if only one was empty she would simply just get the 2 tiles only. Hope this helps! If I can clarify further let me know.
Damn I was hoping you would put me off spending over $200 inc. shipping buying the deluxe+ version of this game but you have pushed me further toward reckless spending!

Does anyone know what the exclamation in the bottom right of madame du Barry’s cards means? The rulebook does not explain it

I think it encapsulates the colour and pageantry of the theme beautifully.
@@windyhillbomber I agree, the garish and gaudy colors absolutely fit the theme well. I just prefer the original art much more.
I want to like this new version, but I think I like the colors, artwork and the feel of the original a lot more...
