- Hi everyone I'm here crafting with my sis Sarah. Today is her last day here before we head off to Rome. We're making scrap paper embellishments inspired by Sarah at The Mushroom market and then Gayle Agostinelli. Thank you lovely ladies!

I realize this is a year old, but I just loved listening to you Rachel and your sister, Sarah. I would love to visit Italy someday. My mom went on a cruise tour a few years ago. She loved her trip. I love all of the things you make. You are so talented. I think I could watch and listen to a video for as long as you could tape.

Thanks for the Italian history lesson. I like it when you talk about Italy. It’s a place I’ve never been to and know little about. What’s most interesting is daily life there now. After a short amount of time sight seeing all I really want to do is talk with the folks that live there. Loved the tags. Crafting along with you as you and your sis visit.

I kept seeing funny things happening here. First it resembled a restaurant buffet where you just choose a bit of this and a bit of that. Then it became a card game. You would discard a scrap and a hand would appear and pick one up. What fun, and the results are so very nice.

I always keep even the smallest scrap to be used elsewhere. I've made diagnel tags with both my small scraps and larger scraps. They turn out beautiful

Really cool little embellishments! Oh & a name for sister Sarah’s: “S’embellishments”, of course that’s French & not Italian. Maybe you could make a similar phrase in Italian! It was so nice to hear you guys bouncing ideas off each other, I liked your squeal when you saw the one where she used a playing card! I’m going to round up some of my grandmother’s cards! AND I LOVE it when you delve into history (much better than a dry old guidebook!) If I ever get to Italy (don’t worry about that, haha!) I’m going to talk you into hitting the roads with me! Oh boy, we would have fun! Well, that’s a nice thought! Thank you again for sharing your video with us, they’re never too long! Had a little chuckle, because I’m sitting in bed atm doing exactly the same thing. Such and easy and relaxing crafting job. Also thinking how lucky you are to have a sister who is interested in crafting and you can craft with. I’m 1 of 6 and not one of my siblings (or parents) are interested. Sue 💜

Art, craft & journals I have 3 sisters and we all sew. I knit and crochet as well but only I sister knits but none of the are interested in paper crafting but they and my two brothers do like receiving my cards

this probably seems as a silly question,what's the difference between ephemera and embellishments?
Hi Deborah, I’m not an expert but I think ephemera is things like receipts, letters, tickets, old images and so on. Embellishments decorate something so you can use ephemera to embellish 😂! That’s how I interpret it😀
