I think the obvious answer is to get a 450 but also keep the 250. You're no stranger to having multiple bikes, so if you can have the daily choice of what to ride it's the best case scenario. Looking good out there dude!
Everyone always rags on the YZ’s. But I’m really surprised that YZ pulled that hard up that hill. 2:25 That’s impressive it almost kept up with Tyler’s pace

Also their motors definitely have more power and have been know for that plus better suspension better stability. Also they corner very well to. All around good bike cause it does so many things well.
i had a crf 250 2018 and then bought a yzf450 2018 i didnt really wanted a 450 but i couldnt find a clean 250,after a few rides with the 450 if you get one you will never want to go back to a 250 trust me you will fall in love the only thing that you want to be carefull is that if something go wrong with the 450 like getting sideways by mistake etc,it doesnt come back like the 250 its a different beast

To all of you brand loyalists, I've ridden every current gen 450 and there isn't one bike that is a standout. They're all pretty much on the same level. The 2021 Honda didn't impress me like I hoped it would. It's just a dirt bike.

It's truly a luxury to wake up and decide which bike to ride that day. The 250RX is my favorite but the brute force of the 450 an absolute joy when I'm in the mood for it.
I had both back in the day when I took racing serious, even at my fastest I felt more comfortable on the 250f, 450s you have to focus more on not killing yourself than anything else.
This is what I mean bro. Buy this not the kx. And I will say you should get the works edition. Comes factory with a yoshimura exhaust and other goodies #TeamRed
If you think the Honda is too much I woulda HIGHLY recommend trying out someones 21 kx450. They have the most smooth and useable power I've ever felt for a 450. Its not too much but always there when you want it. Don't sleep on the kawis :)
I don't know...from watching this video, you have lots of ponies that aren't being used on your 250 so why go with a 450? I think it's overkill for your riding skills (just from watching this video). Watch some of the 250 pro riders and see what are the limits with these 250. I'm not a great rider (riding enduro) but my advice for you is to try and get better and faster with a 250 (your current one or try another brand if you just want to get something new for your soul).
Kx 450 they are actually really mellow and easy to ride, 2021 kx250 id also a really fun bike. 450s are alot I spend alot of concentration on my throttle hand

get a 450 and keep the 250, hondas have a hiccup in the mid range from what ive seen. kawis are pretty much the same as 2020s so is 100% up to you but id go with the kawi personally..

Sorry if missed something, but your description above says first ride on a new 2022. The one in the truck has dual exhaust. IIRC the 2021 did away with that and the 2022 def doesnt have duals. Otherwise, cool vid.. I miss racing and its so fun having a ride along. (back is blown so cant do it anymore. :( ) Sounds like a 2 stroke in front of you... I still have my heavily modded 83 cr 125. ride on!!!

Man honestly if your gonna leave it in 1 gear stick it in 3rd, that bike has plenty of torque to pull it without having to rev it out like that.

Out of all the 450s i’ve rode, I would have to say the 250s are a lot more fun and much more manageable power. Having both would be sick!
