Elephant and castle tube station is a nightmare. I was once on the northern wanting to change to bakerloo but couldn't find the underground connection so ended up at ground level, leaving the northern exit and walking round the corner to find the bakerloo entrance!!
I checked and it's quicker to go to Euston on either branch of the Northern line, and get the Victoria line to oxford circus and get Bakerloo to Elephant & Castle. I still don't know if you would have won though!

Why? Are they that bad? I read that Bakerloo uses 72 stcok. We have old trains (1971-76) which run more efficient than new ones (2016-now) on the same line and route, is it different in the UK?
@@Psevdonim123 Mostly yes, our new trains might be made of plastic and far less comfortable but at least they don't have reliability issues as much as older stock
@@chrisoddy8744 I don't know, I think old ones are more reliable when maintained properly. Doors on our new trains are glithcing too often thus there are delays and when these trains just got into service, they were breaking down all the time

Northern Line to King's Cross. 107 to New Barnet then Thameslink train to King's Cross/ Great Northern train to Finsbury Park then Victoria Line train to King's Cross. Geoff vs Vicki vs Victoria vs Andy. It would be sick.
So the long and short of it is that Thameslink is quicker, unless you get Thameslinked (slow, delayed or cancelled trains). Also interesting that neither Tube route was faster than Thameslink, and both Tube routes were about the same time...
Good stuff. But what strikes me from both videos is that the problem with any journey is not the bit on the train, but the bit at each end, navigating unfamiliar stations and getting lost en route. Then factor in crowds as well, not a problem here of course, and the train wins every time because its just bigger and simpler. And the views are better, just look at view at Blackfiars an you will never willingly use the tube again.

Your content is great but i think you should ask Geoff for help with the thumbnails and video titles,they make such a big difference in terms of views and subs.
You need to invest in one of those gimbal things. Compared to Geoff's footage your camera work shows a shaky ride. By far and way Geoff had the smoothest and quickest ride!
