My theory is that these are all different events that occurred to him in various timelines of his life: he was a child to his parents, a friend in a group out partying, a boyfriend in a turbulent relationship, and then a husband with a beautiful family. Throughout, he felt like he never fit perfectly into any of these roles. In his journey of self-discovery, he encounters another human, Kim Minha, who is as lost as he is in the maze of societal roles and expectations. However, after they have a conversation on the couch, he realizes that it's not just him; this is the reality for most people, and life is never going to feel perfect. Cut to him being transported to these scenarios again, but now he is happy because knowing he is not alone in the journey makes him appreciate life and its imperfections more. In the end, it feels almost like an enlightenment where he is freed from the shackles of pursuing a perfect life and now understands the true meaning of living. You see him walking through the forbidden door with Kim Minha, both now happy and content.
I don't think we had a comeback with so many things happening. I BEG you to give everything you have, double, triple what you are capable of. It's because of Namjoon's hard work and also because of the group's 11-year career. 14 years of a story that has been disrespected for weeks! (with all this hybe mess). Supporting Come Back to me is like responding that we are still here and we are not going anywhere.💜🫂

Feels like he’s imagining himself in the usual relationships people go through in life, but he’s kinda rejecting them? « You don’t have to be the anything you see » maybe means you don’t have to do the things other people are doing, « could see what a life is about » live life originally, find meaning in your own life instead of following the pattern of other people’s lives? Dunno maybe I’m projecting 😂 but art is free for interpretation!
Hearing cbtm is making me so emotional rn. BTS individually has grown so much. You can not hear any tone of insecurity in their respective music anymore. Among the group, the most confident one in expressing maturity as an artist is RM. He doesn't need any boundaries when it comes to his craft. I'm so proud of him😭
I feel like the MV looks into his mind, where every room depicts different emotions like scary, frustrating, boring, and confusing until he is reminded of the right person whom truly makes him happy, and not something that is portrayed by society.
