    This video appears describe the old "Princess Cruises" app that was superseded on 8 March 2024, as the screen images in the video don't resemble the images presented in the "Princess" app version 1.1.2 for Android that I installed on my phone yesterday. If so, this video should be withdrawn and updated with a new video that shows the actual screen images and instructions that pertain to the current application.

    App is terrible. Doesn't work on phone or computer. very frustrated to the point that I may cancell my cruise.... FYI, frequent cruiser and Princess WERE my cruiseline of choice. Been on hold for assistance for ages..GGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

      Spoke to guest services. They couldn’t fix the issue and suggested I try again in a weeks time. That was a week ago and still not working. App freezes up when trying to select medallion type. Same on web version. Clunky, slow, badly designed app. I can get over that, but no other option to get ocean ready is terrible

    no matter what either using the web version, the app on the phone, no matter if i use a image stored on my device or directly from the camera it always takes my profile and security picture and flip it side ways in the app, and I had to use the web version to upload image of my passport and covid card as the app has a lot of issue doing it. the app is buggy and before telling people they NEED to use it for pre board. FIX THE DAMN APP FIRST!

    Medallion contact number in the app for Australia has engaged tone.
    Cruise cancelled on Coral Princess 22/08/22 DineMy Way reservations don’t work. You enter the details and confirm and it doesn’t register. Some ports still shown as QDN! Princess selling cruise with new itinerary.
    Previous contract terms acknowledgement not recognised. I had to do this again. Previous payment for my wife not recognised and cannot change within the app.
    Once all 4 back to back cruises were there in the app. This no longer so.
    The medallion pre cruise is a massive FAIL.

    I was just on the Discovery - sailed to Alaska out of Seattle on May 8, 2022 ..... I had a little trouble with the ap in the beginning - but was quickly solved by the front desk staff. But throughout the cruise I had trouble with the internet - worked more than it did not work - but there were still days when it was very slow or not working at all. My question is that because of the mountains around - I ask this as I am booked on a Transatlantic in Nov. and the internet connection will be more important for me because of the longer period (15 days).

    I've been trying since June and am now over 30 phone calls. They don't give a damn.

      I've sent emails as requested. Your staff pretended they cared when I first sent the email but I'm still waiting. Two weeks till cruise and I'm willing to bet you don't have it fixed in time. But I'm sorry I've rushed you. I've only been dealing with your company since June.

      Same as my cruise coming up in in less than two months - countless emails, phone calls just get hung up saying long wait times no matter what time is the day I call within Australia - very frustrating and this is our first cruise back after two years without cruising 😔

    last cruise I tried pre reserve dinner reservations in crown grill three days before cruise didn't work

    Absolutely horrible experience with the app so far. I am told breathing is not allowed without the app. Discouraged before even boarding hearing horror stories about not boarding without the app. Cruise medallions never arrived of course.. princess has become prin stress.

    I orderd 2 wrist bands and 2 Medallions . I was shipped 3 wrist bands and "NO" Medallions . Called customer service and they said that they would bill me for only 2 bands but they could do "Nothing" about the Medallions . I will have to straighten it out at the port !! What kind of customer service is this ??? Princess Cruise Lines screws up and I have to hopefully get it solved at the port !!! Thay also tried to bill me for a $30 excursion that they said I authorized but they have no $30 excursion ??? When I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me !!! I hope that this is not an indication of what to expect during my whole cruise !!!

    Is this app required? My parents were told to download it, but they only have flip phones.

    I was able to get mine set up quickly, and like all apps had to learn the functions. I made reservations a couple of weeks in advance because a friend told me that cruises often said it is a good idea. This will be our 1st cruise and we are looking forward to the experience.

    Is there any benefit to having the medallion shipped home, or should I just get at port?

      Hi, Joy, the main advantage of getting it shipped home would be that you have it for check in process, and you can basically be able to scan your medallion and be ready to board. If you pick up at pier it will still be easy but an extra step at the check in process.

      I can't get my wife on the app as a travel companion. I get her on and then when I go back in she's gone.
