The four Shadaloo villains having these 'renames' actually suits them better, anyway; eg. the main villain (this guy) suits the name 'M Bison' better as, for a final boss, it makes him sound like a raging bovine (like the Darkwing Duck villain Taurus Bulba, voiced by Tim Curry). The name 'Vega' sounds *silly* for a final boss.
Vega is his real name though. He's a demonic otherworldly entity that can turn into a ball of purple fire. Being named after a star fits. You may just used to Vega being a latin American name, but the word itself is much older than that.

I don't know why everyone says it doesn't play in the arcade. On ps1 street fighter alpha 3 this is all that plays when I fight him last in arcade mode. The only time it switches is probably on vs mode. I know cause in arcade mode that fucker does that ultimate psycho crusher that's not available unless you unlock him.

I mean, when your name is the same as a star, it has to sound imposing.
Why not a combo of both? M. Bison Vega for example or something like that. They did something like that with Charlie (via Charlie Nash).

Yes, I had the white PS1 SFA3 disc too and this DID NOT play in arcade, only Brave or Grave. Maybe Dramatic Battle Mode, maybe....
