Thanks, Nicholas! It sure was! I got to meet some other guys, another friend of mine got to come, I even got to see a conductor I know on NS P86! I have a separate video with the conductor on NS P86 on my Facebook page. Check it out!
Miss the days when Clinchfield, Southern, Atlantic Coast Line and Piedmont & Northern, as well as The Charleston & Western Carolina were stil around, you could go from yard to yard in the 60's and see all kinds of stuff. Remember in 1967 when 4 Seaboard Air Line GP-40's can off the Clinchfield and went down the former ACL line to Savannah, was amazing !
Nice catches dude! Lately there have been some reroutes up here in Spartanburg. A 372 mixed freight took the W line this past Tuesday. I think it was destined for Andrews Yard in Columbia and then it would take the R line. Also there was a rail train that had an NS engine with a yellow nose leading!
They don't call Spartanburg the Hub City for nothing. Did you know, CSX travels right under Magnolia St? At least 24 trains passes through Spartanburg daily in a 24 hour period; both Norfolk Southern and CSX combined.
So beautiful video
I wish you dear Friend happy Time .
Thanks
Amazing catches, Daniel! Looks like a good day for you.

Yeah. NS 192 derailed in Bartow, GA with a spill of Hydrogen Peroxide and Hydrochloric Acid.
Eastern Railfanning Videos Dang. That does NOT sound good for the water supply in that district of GA.
Wow can’t believe this video was posted five years ago! I wish the action at Spartanburg was still this busy.
You're telling me! And plus, we'd have more work to do!
Terrific catches!
Much appreciated!
