Yep. Just look at what happened to Chibi Reviews by simply posting a rather tame panel from Dan Da Dan. The American shonentards cannot handle the teeniest bit of naughtiness in anime.
Not at all, Anime went mainstream 1- (Toonami) Cowboy bebop, DBZ, Trigun, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing(which literally thanks to TwoMix caused a invasion of Jpop in the music scene that we still feel today from the likes of Babymetal and such) 2- it got even more during the Dark Tournament from YU YU Hakusho 3- Bleach 4- Then you had the heavy weights like Ghost in the Shell willing Cannes FIlm Festival, and anime like Berserk and Hellsing going nuclear because it was gritty, 5- Attack on Titan/ Sword art Online probably was the last time everyone talked about an anime show I mean sure Parasyte and Chainsaw man along with My Hero Academia are referenced here and there from time to time but its no where near as popular. It was going to happen and Believe it or not PS2 was the cause. The problem is when you allow Corporate companies to have their reign and give voice actors the privilege of changing lines to what they want, leading to terrible dubs. Allowing them to have political motivations is also a major issue, both sides both democrats and republicans are trash for this kind of thing.
Oh and Card Captor Sakura the heavily edited garbage Sunday mourning run from Clamp studios, the controversy was legendary. You also had Ronin Warriors and sailor moon, Power Rangers which was a ripoff of Voltron, Transformers that was GoBots for US, I mean even Fortress Macross basically doomed anime but since you are too young to realize this or too ignorant it goes back to grandparents with Speed Racer and AstroBoy. So it was actually probably mainstream before we were born.
Astonishes me that this guy's resume of bouncing through jobs and not finishing his classes gets him a job. When I struggled to get a job at a gas station with a bachelor's degree and 4 years experience and a general store/gas station. Glad I found something way better now.
I have never seen a website that screamed 'I was built with a website building tool designed to minimize required knowledge of HTML' than that Mouthwashing guy's.
It’s too bad Dev derailed the stream a bit. I don’t care for him and I don’t watch his content. Let’s be honest, we all know why he was here, present himself publicly as a misunderstood victim for being centrist when his situation is far different. Since you’re a straight talker and have some overlapping audience with G&G, it’s perfectly understandable your stream audience are the crowd with little patience for misrepresentation. Some of those people would be annoyed for Dev even being in the chat. Dev knows that. If he just wanted to chat publicly or privately, he would’ve reach out for privately first.
Can't say I'm surprised that the Mouthwashing crew would be so upset by someone they politically disagree with playing or promoting the game. The game is outspokenly left wing, but the first 2 acts of the game are actually pretty good! The ending ruins it entirely and that's a video script that will get made someday, but given the writing of the game im not surprised to see someone on the Dev team acting like this. Its just sad. They had an almost good indie game and i would've wanted to see a more refined product from them in the future.
Visa and Mastercard are certainly not going to stop at just shotacon and lolicon doujinshis and hentais. Mark my words.
We're truly living in the Shimoneta timeline. It tried to warn us all.
Anime & Manga going mainstream in North America was a grave mistake. Americans failed to handle them.

It's insane that this just happens and it's really impacting these sites and stores. What alternatives are there to purchase from them?

6:35 connected question, how are you getting on with Affinity Photo? I'm loving it personally, so glad I booted PS when they did the ghey.
@@JadedFett it’s been fun to learn! I’m very happy with how it handles color

Dastardly and bastardly TH-cam, attacking your streams 🤨
You and whitney webb should get together and stream. I'm sure you two would have a lot to talk about.
