Thank you so much for this video! I just got a knitting machine with a KR6 and now I feel confident to use it. Making my own sweater on my machine seems possible now 🎉

So glad I found your video again as just got a KR6 and starting to draw my own patterns. What got me watching this was how it is the reverse of the Lutterloh pattern system of having micro patterns which you enlarge with their tape measure. So simple and you are a life saver! Thanks

I don't understand the centering part? Where to put the tracing paper, please? Are there lines on the pattern to show you where to put it?

Is a full half scale (half width and half height) usable in a KR7?

Any idea if the Passap Forma can be used with an E6000?

You should be able to use a Forma with the E6000, if you can get it attached and the tripper attached to the locks. Though the electronic shaping unit was designed for a more "modern" (at that time) interface for garment shaping... I like the Forma mechanism, but the attachment bar it sits on is flimsy and the whole mechanism shakes horribly after every lock pass.

Hi. Really useful, thanks. I have just bought a second-hand Passap that has a Forma but no patterns. You said you cut a large pad to size - but didn't say what size. Can you let me know the width, please? And is the middle of a symmetrical pattern piece (for example, a back) right up against the edge of the paper, or is it in a bit? Alison

I had a presentation drawing pad cut to width at office depot. No idea what the original presentation pad size was. It was one of those pads that they put on a stand and draw or write on during business or training presentations. I leave a small amount of space at the edge of the paper, maybe 0.5cm
