  • How far can you take AI Art? I decided to challenge myself to see if these "small" and "blurry" AI Art pieces can stand up to poster size! Turns out, different styles turn out a little differently, but it can definitely work. Here's what worked for me.

    Hey, just wanted to say thanks for showing me the ropes. I was checking out some TH-camrs who were saying that Midjourney's upscaled images are good for t-shirts, large posters, wall art, but I wasn't sure since they didn't really give such detailed tutorials or explain the quality but now I feel like I know what's up, thanks to your help. Really appreciate it, man. Thanks again!

    Don't listen to the Ai haters. There always will be this kind of people. Your Artworks are Amazing! Ai art is exclusively for Professional Artist, and designers. Like you and me. We combine Ai with creativity. The rest of the people who don't understand this Very helpful new technology, they are just... barking. Keep up the good work! Can you please make a video tutorial on how you edited the "Mythborn" poster in Photoshop from start to end? I would like to watch an editing process in photoshop for an Ai poster. Thank you.

    Hello, I absolutely love your videos because they are so educational and inspirational! I got a few questions:
    1. What is the max aspect ratio you can get when it comes to printing posters/art?
    2. Do I need to use 300 DPI inside PNG files when I print Ai art for crisp and sharp print?
    3. Do you know any good upscalers that can upscale x8? or more with sharp and crisp quality that can be USED with chaiNNer application? (with .pth file)

    When you went to print did you do any changing of the file projects to CYMK from RGB? Or did you have any problems converting or working with AI Files from RGB to CMYK? You mentioned the Samurai print was washed out, could that be a part of the reason?

    • @analog-dreams
      @analog-dreams  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The paper profiles for my printer convert back to RGB so I just stuck with RGB and used printer profiles

    Hey, try adding these commands to the end of the prompt, the files with an ar 2:3 should end up at 1664 x 2432 & look very good. "--ar 2:3 --upbeta --q 2 --v 4" eg: "young woman on surf,California sea coast Damien Clave style, vector, minimalism --ar 2:3 --upbeta --q 2 --v 4" then pick an image U1 to U4 when they finish processing these images look really good.

    • @analog-dreams
      @analog-dreams  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was using v4, upbeta (both of which are defaults now anyway) and aspect ratios appropriate to the format I was printing, as described.

  • @sumdood2035
    @sumdood2035 ปีที่แล้ว

    Apparently you can't use aspect ratios other than 3:2 and 2:3 with --style 4b which is my preferred?

      @@analog-dreams ok if you say so. I guess I’m just a viewer of your content and have no valuable input. It’s just my opinion after all. Great mindset to have on your end.

    • @analog-dreams
      @analog-dreams  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I mean, I carefully crafted a script that walked through both my creative process and is full of tiny, unnecessary details (from an entertainment standpoint) that would be helpful to someone else trying to do this (such as sizing and resolution, paper types, formatting considerations) and detailed my struggles getting each individual idea working for a big print… and with this being my third video about printing AI art (I called out the first two within this video and have them linked in description) where I cover the upscaling/enlarging must-dos in those first two videos to build up to this one…
      Yes, if you’re telling me I didn’t do the single purpose of this video, that I built the entire video around doing… no, that’s not valuable input as it’s blatantly untrue. I have every possible piece of information needed to copy what I did - other than perhaps how to put paper in the printer.
      Saying something that is untrue does not count as an “opinion”.
      It’s not a photoshop tutorial, I don’t teach you the basics of photoshop here, but that’s outside of the scope of such a project video - and there’s lots of channels like PixImperfect for that

    • @channelnotfound403
      @channelnotfound403 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What wasn't explained? He talked about how he found inspiration, talked about how he upscaled them, the printer he used, and some of the changes he made to each designs before printing.

    • @Sergatx
      @Sergatx ปีที่แล้ว

      @@analog-dreams you could of explained how to take the same image and turn it into different aspect ratios for printing. Could of talked about how you are using gigapixel to actually do it.
      You could of talked about if vectorizing the image first could help. Could of talked about some details about if you can keep a 300 dpi or ppi? You kept me entertained I like your videos, you just could of provided better detail or a path on how to do it, and more of the detail involved especially regarding turning the same image Into different aspect ratios. Again it’s just my opinion. It’s your channel I’m just a viewer. However there is a comments section and I’m just expressing my opinion. Not saying I hated your video or anything.

    Why all the disco music? That was dead in 1977. I was 25 years old then and really sick of that music. Can people no longer create new music?

    • @analog-dreams
      @analog-dreams  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well the music is Synth rock, with Synth music being from the 80s, not the 70s, and this kind of synth rock being substantially newer. It IS new music - but no, new *genres* don’t really come up that often.
      (Ok yes technically synth started in the 50s, but this style/genre is straight out of the 80s)
      It fits my brand and style, and is made in-house by my business partner specifically for people to use in videos/streams.
      It’s amazing what stupid things people will get irrationally angry over - especially when they’re wrong on the details.
      Plus - I get to see when you like your own comment since it got flagged for spam before going public ;)

I mean, this dude was for sure a troll, and not just.... an extremely enraged culture hermit with zero agency other than the feeling of assertiveness he gains from lashing out at people in TH-cam comments with regards to minor trivial things which any sane person would have simply either let go of immediately or been able to cope with from the start.... *breathes* ....
