Aluminum pucks from currie/terraflex are better then the poly JKS pucks imo. They dont compress like poly for proper torque spec. Seen body bolts going through tubs with the poly bushings over time. Otherwise great vid!

Hey thank you! I’ve herd of this, but I have never seen it happen. This body lift was on my Jeep for about 5-6 years. I made a change and took it off a little while ago, clearly it’s back on.
I’ve always closely watched how much I torque down the body mount bolts on my TJ. I could see someone cranking on those bolts and just ripping the captured nuts right out of the body.
Regardless, the solid metal pucks are probably a safer bet to go with. Thank you for the inout!

Hey man good information I have an 06 TJ do I need to do anything with the gas tank? I'm thinking of doing a 1.25 jks tomorrow after work. Any help would really help

Not at all, the gas tank mounts to the frame and not the body so it wont move. However, one interesting fact. After you install your body lift you will be able to raise the gas tank an inch or so (with an aftermarket skid plate of course). Glad you found the video helpful! Love the TJ's I hope your is suiting you well.

did you have to change anything at your shifter? I've heard with the body lift it creates some issues shifting through gear

In the past I had zero issues.
This time I did have a slight problem going into second gear. However, I did a transmission swap a while back so my configuration in the boot/tunnel is a little different than most.
However, if you do a high clearance skid at the same time you will not zero issues since you are lifting the transmission up with it. But that also requires a motor mount lift as well.

You will most likely have to make a slight adjustment to your transfer case linkage though.
