    You can get it for $1400 delivered from some Europian websites. But, you will need to use a 220v to 120v power transformer ($30) and you won't have any warranty.
    Thanks for the great review btw! I was looking at this machine the same week this video came out. A comparison with Jura and some other models will be AWESOME!

    I wish saeco used wifi rather then bluetooth. Wifi can go further then bluetooth and I could even make a drink before I get home.
    Does the app have a timer function where I can make a drink at a certian time?

    I saw your video with Miele coffee machine: between this Saeco and the Miele CM 6310 which would you choose?

    How's that supposed to work with milk drinks...should I leave my milk out over night completely unrefrigerated?
    If I have to get up and set the milk container in place first I honestly don't need to remote control it...

      You would have to take the milk out of the fridge before you make a milk based brink. I dont think Saeco completely thought this machine through.

      Agree. Kinda unnecessary feature. Cool though..

      Well but..... my husband gets up before I do so I will just train him to put the milk on when he makes his coffee and then I'll be all set! I sure hope I can train him!!!

      What cleaning process?

    Returned this puppy... very sour espresso... watery milk froth (at first start).. and the biggest issue - that stupid rinse cycle when the machine starts and shuts off.... also - this is a $2400 machine!!! The app is a gimmick - its not precise and doesn't let you control things (like temp settings).. and the bluetooth has a totally short range.. wifi would have been the natural here. All in all - I was hoping this machine would be the "press and go" wonder.. but its not... disappointing!

      Hmm...My machine is perfect!!
      My espresso is never sour or bitter because I know which beans to use and I know how to operate the machine properly..
      Buying cheap or old bean is a no no. Try buying freshly roasted medium dark beans that cost $17+ per pound. Make sure the machine is fully warmed up, which takes several minutes. I sometimes run a 'fake' pre-grind cycle just to warm and prime the machine. If you are making a milk base drink, try and use extra cold vitamin D milk or Half n Half.
      Some residual steam water will shoot out of the milk carafe at first, just catch the water with a second cup and once actual milk comes out then you place your coffee cup/glass.
      Always use the highest temperature for espresso and the boldest flavor and the strongest bean setting. Double tap the espresso button to double your shot so it will come out has 60ml of coffee and set your volume of water to about 40ml or less.
      Perfect espresso.

    hi gail
    what is diffrent beteen this Saeco Gran Baristo Avanti to xelsis evo ? is the xelsis better ?
    thanks
    yossi

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Xelsis is a bit bigger machine -- meaning better for making more drinks at a time because of the bigger hopper and water tank. It also comes with a traditional steam wand if you want to do real-deal milk frothing. The Avanti is a smaller footprint and comes with the phone app, and the coffee setting will be a bit closer to a traditional coffee. Hope that helps :D

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Decisions, decisions... but no, we aren't expecting a new version of the Evo.

    • @yossishi221
      @yossishi221 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      the milk temperature is better on the evo over the primea touch plus second edition?

    I've had this machine for over 6 years and it's been great. I recently had my first real issue with it which was the gaskets inside wore out. This made it leak a lot of water inside. I made a video about how to replace them at: th-cam.com/video/WA2bbMoU3kw/w-d-xo.html
