6:05 Loh Kean Yew exploded onto the world stage and took the world champs by storm as a dark horse. He has incredible talent, skills and physique to be a champion. But since then sadly he hasn’t achieved much (he admitted it himself). A lot of people have talked about the importance of stability and mental toughness. Thanks for this training video. It would be good to see more of that side and how he can realise his full potential to be at the absolute top tier consistently. Add oil LKY!!!
Thanks for the comment, lots of valid points in there for sure. He is such an exciting player at his best and would be great for the sport if he can repeat his top level more consistently.
Pleased you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
Loh Kean Yew’s switch from controlled to explosive movement in an instant is very impressive. It’s also fascinating to get insight into the different training regimes adopted by different players/countries.
It’s very impressive to have such a quick injection of pace.
Very interesting to see the difference in his training. Great video!
Thanks for watching! Hope it helps you in your training. 👍

Such an informative video highlighting the contrasting style of training compared to the UK. Interesting insight on prolonging rallies and choosing the right time to attempt a winning combination of shots. Great to see this type of video with live training and Coach commentary. 🏸👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video. You both deserve to have a lot more subscribers. That was really interesting to get a chance to see his training as well as the interview.

Thanks very much, we are really pleased with it. Such an amazing experience for us and so grateful to Loh Kean Yew for his time.
Amazing work guys! Must be bit overwhelming from where you started to where you are now 💜
We are pleased with how things are progressing. It’s been a great trip for us. Pleased you enjoyed the video 👍
He looks like he has all the time in the world
Speed, violence and momentum did it
He plays shots that allows him to have this time then will inject a lot of pace both with feet and speed of shot when he wants to attack and add pressure.
Thailand Open first round exit again. that's truly unreal exit speed!
@@csoffline7820how unreal is that if 15 other MS players exited first round too? Lol.
Thank you for this video
You’re welcome 👍
Great video, really interesting!
Pleased you enjoyed it 😀
Power is more genetics than any training in the world could provide. Some people are just built differently, that's why he's so fast
Kean Yew was very much saying he felt most of his speed was natural and then would continue to work on it to maintain or increase his level of speed around the court.
Interesting video! Liked and subscribed 👍😀
Awesome, pleased you liked it 👍
🤩
It was an honour to have a video featuring Loh Kean Yew, he was very generous with his time.
Secret to calf muscle please 😆
It’s a secret 😂😂
If we figure one out we will let you know. 👍

You’re clearly not a fan
he's actually controlling the match but his error ruined it
@@TheBadmintonZoneHQ LOL. Another unreal first round exit speed. truly amazing. all he needs is luck.
He is still better than you😂
another unbelievable unreal first round exit speed. WTF. He needs Kuman Thong man
He can be actor,, according to his looks hehe ecen wang chang can be actor
We will take your word for it on that one. 😀
Hope you liked the video.
The danes, including their famous coach turned commentator are always preaching being more aggressive, upping the pace, taking initiative.
This was even during the Lin Dan, LCW, Chen Long era where all the top players were playing passively (against equal powered opponents) a vast majority of rallies
Then came Momota who absolutely washed Viktor, who was also a very passive-first player, rarely going for the attacks in back cout (all 4 more front-court aggressive, back court reset)
I just feel like their coaching philosophy hasnt kept up with what the GOATs of the game were doing
The Danes only won when the greatest defensive players got old, got hurt, or retired.
Thanks for talking the time to comment.
Interesting point regarding the Danes, it’s very difficult for them to match some of the Asian players in the more controlled longer rallies. Victor obviously has incredible attack and hits some fantastic angles, Anders is also more aggressive in his flatter style. It’s more about making sure that you play a style that suits your game. Players will often have different natural attributes to build around. We have recently released a video with Jia Min discussing playing it styles. Link below. Thanks for watching

great training but lack consistency in tourneys. performances too volatile. today plays like a pro, tomorrow plays like secondary school boy
I’m sure all secondary school boys would disagree
Not sure I could last 1 hour 30 on one set 😂
😂😂
We don’t think you’re the only one.
Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍
He lost today in Thailand, 😅😅😅
Yes he did
Secret of calf muscles??🥲
Still a secret 😀😂
If we find out a recipe that works we will let you know 👍
Hope you liked the video, it was great to have Loh Kean Yew involved.
