Mark, this video came right on time! I was in prayer, I cried to the Lord. I said Lord, if I stay consistent in you, will seeking after your goodness and the enemy tries to distract me how will I know if it’s my husband or not? I’m afraid I might miss out on my husband. The book of Isaiah came into my spirit. But I just couldn’t find the scripture. I cried with grief for an hour and overcame my tears with choosing to pursue God. Then this video circulated and served as confirmation. The Lord has answered me. Thank you.
Whenever I see some comments like "I'm 60 something and still single waiting on the Lord" or "I'm 50 something delighted in the Lord for a long time, but God hasn't brought me a godly spouse yet." on other Godly marriage related videos from someone else, it kind of discourages me. Certainly, I don't know how their actual walk with the Lord nor their plans God has for them. However, watching this video encourage me and to be reminded that God does care about us and takes care of our life. He knows the best! Yes, I fully agree, I get so discouraged knowing that there are people like this who've waited past their best years. It' so difficult to see and understand why God never allowed some people to have children and a family. What's the point of finding your spouse at 60 or 70 years old and get married anymore at that point. You won't even have your own father anymore there to walk you down the aisle and no one's going to hope, wish and pray for you to have children soon. Personally I don't even know if I'd want to get married anymore at that stage, it's like there wouldn't be any purpose for it anymore at that point so it takes away from the joy and hope of sharing life together and growing up together. But I still want to trust the Lord, but it's so difficult indeed.
I'm 60+ years. I was married before. To a Satanist. No joke. Don't be discouraged. If you mean business to obey God. If you have a servant's heart. If you allow God to heal old wounds..I'm confident you'll marry. Pray for the brothers who are facing unprecedented spiritual warfare.
Relax. We’re fine and living our best life. We aren’t ‘waiting’ as if we know it’s coming in a specific package and we’re stuck in a reception room. Instead we are busy, involved, caring for others, learning, growing in faith. We trust but it’s not the most important thing in our lives. If it’s the most important thing then you’ve set it up as an idol and it will distract you from Gods purposes. Even worse you might rush into a marriage that’s not Gods purpose and I’ve seen too many of those.
I think a lot of time God doesn't mean for us to meet anyone until the clutter of our own broken pasts is cleaned up in some way or ways. Usually His... I had something finally clear my path recently to help me realize that as well. You can't entertain your past and meet your future. God is faithful y'all!

EXACTLY what I needed to hear!!! Especially the very last part of it's not like a treasure map where if you make one wrong decision you're done for. I'm 22 and have made some poor financial decisions and now am in debt. I am paying it off right now and came across a godly women from church. We connected and everything but one thing concerning me is I cannot get married because of my $80k debt. I was concerned that I would miss this opportunity, but I will continue trusting in God and even if this relationship never happens, God is still good!

Me too. I've been praying for my other half since I was a pre-teen, and still waiting decades later. Lately I've been praying a lot for the Spirit's clarity & guidance. I long for companionship so much that I constantly overthink things.
I don’t want to live or die alone. I also don’t want to be with someone who I settled for out of fear of being alone. My whole life has been settling for not even second best and watching the world pass by while waiting for things to be better someday.
At 32, from an eastern cu,ture, im well past my prime. After the pandemic life slipped away from me. I ve been unemployed,couldnt finish my studies,parents fell into deep debt. I lost my prime yrs from 27 to 32. I am ashamed to show up anywhere socially where younger ppl are getting jobs, moving abroad, marrying and having childre... im jhst stuck with huge debt and stress... i look ugly, became ill, a shadow of a once bright eyed young working woman. I dont even see the possibility of anything clearingup other than through an actualmiraculous provision from God. (Excuse english). Im so sad i searched thjs video.
Would you consider doing a video on having a Godly courtship & maintaining purity till marriage? I'm SO attracted to my intended & vice versa. I think he's being extremely cautious about being alone with me.
My suggestion for you, since you seem to be aware that you are very attracted to him, is to have a chaperone that will hold both of you accountable and keep anything untoward from happening from either one of you. Avoiding being alone together is a great way to keep temptation from getting yall to cross a boundary. Remember that self-control is a fruit of the spirit thus we receive it freely, but sometime we can be influenced by other things. So i recommend you ask God if there is anything in your physical or spiritual life that is pushing your buttons to have certain thoughts or actions that are pushing boundaries (whether physical or fantasies in the mind). Sometimes the kinds of movies or music or conversations that we have or listen to (on poscasts or tiktok) can influence the patterns of thoughts in our mind, or our spiritual lives.
I don't listen to provocative music nor watch same movies. I'm human and it's normal to feel physical, emotional and spiritual attraction towards a potential spouse. Yes, I think a chaperone is a great idea. Thanks!

A wise conclusion, if God wanted you married you would be married. But you should still take opportunities (if any) and pray as long as your desires remain. Perhaps God will open a path for you.
If you desire marriage, God put that desire there. Keep close to God, pour your heart out to Him and ask Him to give you peace while waiting and show you His choice for you. I know, it's easier said than done. Remember God cares about the little things too, there is nothing you cannot share with Him. Ask Him to help you not "Miss" what he's doing in your life now, and each moment. Sometimes a delay means God is working on you to prepare you for a spouse. He may be working on your spouse as well. I had the experience where God actually actively led me (via the Holy Spirit putting a love for that person in my soul) to pursue a relationship with a guy who had many qualities of "the one" (a perfect fit for me at that time in my life) that I desired (and most importantly, I felt peace and safety with him) but out of fear, pride and insecurity I wanted to postpone that offer (as I wanted to make myself feel better about myself when I was with him, as I felt that he was out of my league) and God closed that door. I was so worried I missed out on the one and would never find anyone again and be single forever. Thank God it's not too late.

I see…. What was your experience like? For me, realising I lost the person forever brought heart-break, guilt and pain. I also had to deal with a season of dryness (locust year), where I felt tired a lot and lacked spiritual vigour (aftermath of rebelling against God as I had rejected His Will of accepting that guy). I actually really liked that guy, but my insecurity was overwhelming. His lack of initiative triggered my desire to withdraw as a way to get him to be more proactive. I also felt he was out of my league, so I did all I could to boost my own accomplishments so that I could make myself feel better about myself. However, me withdrawing and avoiding him just caused us to grow further apart until God finally cut the spiritual bond between us.

Ahhhh . . . I don't believe that's the context of that scripture when regarding "predestined" . . . Yes he knows what's going to happen but yes he totally gives us free will and yes if we obey him we are predestined to be conformed to the likeness of Christ. That is what I believe that scripture means . . . We're not predestined to have a certain life though he is aware of it . . . We are just predestined to have a certain outcome according to the ways that we choose to live 👍
I would thoroughly enjoy seeing God's plan for me, but I'm glad I am not allowed to except as it plays out. I would love to see the end and how it all plays out, but when I see the pain and heartache I have to endure before getting to the good times, it would destroy my faith and trust in Jesus, because I would ask "why are you letting me go through all this pain? Just for this?!" But when the revelation of His will for me is spoon fed to me as I live day to day, I can handle the pains I will face and deal with them as they come and not have my faith shipwrecked but growing in faith and grace on a day to day basis.
I believed god brought into my life who he wanted me to marry her and I were together for 6 years and she left me 2 weeks ago anytime we were together I felt gods presence I sought him out prayed we would get married and live for his kingdom raise a family and have a lot of kids for him and he took her away and I am so lost now I feel like I had completion the Holy Spirit her and I all holding hands and now she abandoned me and all I feel is hopeless she left and I don’t feel god anymore everyone says god is working a miracle that I need to wait on but why would he bring someone like that into my life someone I didn’t even know I could want or need like that just to take her away
How do you know God took her away? Perhaps the woman failed on her end and went against God's plan by leaving you. Free will is a real problem. A similar situation happened to me last year. God blessed me with an opportunity with a special woman and she failed on her end. Remember this stuff happened in the Bible too. King Saul chosen by God failed on his end and had to be replaced with David. If you're meant to be married God will bring this woman back to you somehow or replace her with a better woman. You must pray and keep your eyes open for opportunities. ☝
Basically if you're meant to be married then you will be married. The events of your life will be set up for you to succeed in attracting your wife. If you find that your efforts to attract a wife end in nothing or failure then you are most likely meant to be single. Now if that's just for a long time or forever only God knows. 😎
Not true. God would never put a desire for marriage into a person He has not chosen to get married. That would be cruel and He is not. Some people are called to singleness and those people have no desire for marriage or kids

Don't let religion paralyze you. God will provide you the means to find your person in the same way he provides friends - by giving you intelligence, ability, and time. Go out. Learn a hobby. Approach people. But don't wait or expect there to be a perfect moment. There isn't and if you're waiting for the love of your life to spawn, you've been fed a paralyzing lie and need to take action to free yourself from it now.
I did my part and ended up with nothing. If God wants somebody married He will MAKE it happen. Outside of punishment for continual sin a person can't miss God's calling for them. If a person is destined for marriage they will be influenced into doing what they need when they need to. These people that sit and wait have most likely been influenced into being passive because they are meant to be single forever. It's so simple when you truly understand that God controls everything. God knows the beginning from the end. So it's all predestined and every decision we choose has already been factored into and known by God

I believed god brought into my life who he wanted me to marry her and I were together for 6 years and she left me 2 weeks ago anytime we were together I felt gods presence I sought him out prayed we would get married and live for his kingdom raise a family and have a lot of kids for him and he took her away and I am so lost now I feel like I had completion the Holy Spirit her and I all holding hands and now she abandoned me and all I feel is hopeless she left and I don’t feel god anymore everyone says god is working a miracle that I need to wait on but why would he bring someone like that into my life someone I didn’t even know I could want or need like that just to take her away
How do you know God took her away? Perhaps the woman failed on her end and went against God's plan by leaving you. Free will is a real problem. A similar situation happened to me last year. God blessed me with an opportunity with a special woman and she failed on her end. Remember this stuff happened in the Bible too. King Saul chosen by God failed on his end and had to be replaced with David. If you're meant to be married God will bring this woman back to you somehow or replace her with a better woman. You must pray and keep your eyes open for opportunities. ☝
If you knew she was the one, why didn't you marry her before six years passed? That's a long time to wait.
Basically if you're meant to be married then you will be married. The events of your life will be set up for you to succeed in attracting your wife. If you find that your efforts to attract a wife end in nothing or failure then you are most likely meant to be single. Now if that's just for a long time or forever only God knows. 😎
Not true. God would never put a desire for marriage into a person He has not chosen to get married. That would be cruel and He is not. Some people are called to singleness and those people have no desire for marriage or kids

As a grown up, I can't seem to understand WHY people, especially women, do not understand that in this life one can be either single or married, and get on with their lives instead of watching these kind of videos. Don't let religion paralyze you. God will provide you the means to find your person in the same way he provides friends - by giving you intelligence, ability, and time. Go out. Learn a hobby. Approach people.
But don't wait or expect there to be a perfect moment. There isn't and if you're waiting for the love of your life to spawn, you've been fed a paralyzing lie and need to take action to free yourself from it now.
I did my part and ended up with nothing. If God wants somebody married He will MAKE it happen. Outside of punishment for continual sin a person can't miss God's calling for them. If a person is destined for marriage they will be influenced into doing what they need when they need to. These people that sit and wait have most likely been influenced into being passive because they are meant to be single forever. It's so simple when you truly understand that God controls everything. His plans can't be thwarted. 😎
