Finally a short film that lives up to its billing. I have gotten to the point where I read the comments now before I watch a film anymore. But I have noticed that reading peoples comments doesn't do the trick anymore. I had forsaken anymore short films until I saw and watched yours. Wonderful Story and Special effects. Thank You.

Can we just take one moment and appreciate how the one who made this didn't instigate at racism and introduced through Alexa Giuffre,one of the actors who participated into this short-movie,a person of roma ethnicity. And just taking a look at those details makes you feel like you live in that period of time and space. Well done👏
As a Romanian, this was very interesting to watch, writting good, acting good, everything was on point, I'm sure it took a lot of work, it turned out great

Pretty good. I kinda figured his daughter was the vampire and he was leading them to the dinner table. Two things bothered me. There were only two soldiers with this officer? It made sense in the cave, but it seems like such a small unit for such a dangerous task. The other was the German officer. The acting was good, but he didn't look the part. It kept taking me out of the picture. Otherwise, well done.
I'd like to believe that manpower was all on the eastern front and this officer is sort of like Fox Mulder- the redheaded stepchild of the organization sent to go do crazy shit and he always escapes as sole survivor with a wild story.
Well because supernatural isn’t dangerous at all. 1 soldier can kill an entire army of vampires easily. This movie is so unrealistic, the Germans and their tech is far superior to anything supernatural like little vampires. They may have sharp teeth, but they are yet to outsmart the bullet. Supernatural is so stupid and war crimes should be committed against them because then it’s ok to commit war crimes because they aren’t humans they are little lesser supernatural filth
I'm fully blind and the sound design/music score and acting are still powerful enough to give me a strong sense of what's going on even without actually seeing any of it. That's what great film making is made of, when every individual part on it's own is good enough to tell a story and tug on your emotions,. And for such a short film, you really managed to paint a picture in my mind of the setting and characters. Excellent work!
The Keep is a fabulous movie my all time favourite which iv watched over 500 time I never get tired watching it great movie & great music from Tangerine dreams ❤
This is the most attractive short film I've ever seen, stories, directors, photography, lighting, editing, COSTUME Design, actors, and so on. It would be better to make a big film. Like the style of movies!

Being real honest here. I haven't read any comments or other spoilers. I am pausing at 5:27 to log my guess that the "Hunter's" wife and/or daughter's are now vampires, hiding in the cave, and that the "Hunter" is leading the Nazi scum to their deaths. The original vampire(s) who "turned" the "Hunter's" wife and/or daugher into vampires may or may not still be around, but the Nazis are going to get a nasty but well-deserved surprise. Whether I am right or wrong, so far this film is extremely engaging and well-done.
Cool short, I would've liked to see Romanian Soldiers, with a Romanian officer, accompanied by an SS Officer , as Romania joined the Axis in 1940 , and did not Flip until they accepted an Armistice From Stalin in 44'. Other than that I love short stories like this !

Something that the Nazis would have gravely underestimated. Rumors would spread like wildfire in Berlin and Vienna. Also Vienna would be the city that would have the worse of the two cities. Historical records during the reign of Empress Maria Teresa in the 18th have hinted at the rumors.

Brilliant! This just proves that because a film is Three hours long, doesn't make it an epic! This leaves the viewer wanting more, just how it should be! I honestly thought that the Man was going to be a Vampire, and there would be a whole, 'Family ' of Vampires living in the cave!

It's a quite interesting movie concept that I'd like to see as a feature length movie. I'd do some changes with the script though, but it'd be interesting to see a movie with a secret german outfit hunting down vampires for a "super soldier experiment", but they need the vamps alive, which makes the mission all the more dangerous and difficult. It's not an entirely new concept, similar things has been done before, but none the less, this intrigues me. Well done!

Wow, excellent plot. This is the type of horror movie I always wondered why was never made for a big budget horror film. Germans, in Romania, stalking vampires. You'd think there would have been several Hollywood movies like this over the years...
