@3:40 really beautiful place. Philippines can develop this area like housing development and attract local and foreign businesses here (no China please. China is always up to no good.). Btw, that zipline in Samar is really awesome. I think not many people know about this place even local Filipinos. Thanks Kumander Daot.
You are amazing bro...not only just promoting the country's tourism industry but the best part is opening the eyes of Filipinos how majestic our islands and places were, because not all of us travel and experience the beautiful lanscape of the Philippine. Kanindot ba kitaon 😊. May you have millions of subscriber to help you more cope up with your finances and someday help the poor ones in return...have fun and stay safe.
Hi, Anselm/KD. Your vlogs continue to AMAZE. Your Indiana Jones version is FEARLESS & FUNNY, Adventurous and Self-effacing too! Your skill to speak with Filipinos in their dialects has served you quite well. 👍🏻👏 .... LUV the ZIPLINE ride. ❤ Glad you went for it -- despite the long & winding hike. ... Safe Travels, Anselm!!
Thank you Kumander Daut for visiting our province of Masbate and making vlogs about tourist attractions in our province. You will be understood because Cebuano is also a dialect understood and spoken esp. in the 3rd District of the province .
Amazing adventure Indiana Anselm----what great value 350 peso, tour guide, zip line and boat ride. Loving the tour, cant wait for more through Samar and Leyte
Grabe tong tao nga ipangutana nimo KD asa paingon sa dagat. Tubag man nga unsa imo tuyo nimo didto sa dagat ug pabilin man motor bisan pwedi ra man mo adto near sa dagat dala ang motor. Kuyaw pod ug tinan-awan murag tag-iya sa lugar. I like your attitude though KD kay cool ra ka.Maayo man ang mga tao sa Masbate but ok ra nga gitudlo pod ka ug tarong atong tao asa paingon sa dagat. Amping pirmi KD ug thanks for featuring the different places especially the tourist spots all over the country which you have visited.
KD, that rock house was featured before on tv, abs-cbn by noli de castro. If i'm not mistaken, magandang gabi bayan tv program. The owner and maker/builder of that house was a poor old man. He only used martilyo and tigib or pait in tagalog ( hammer and chisel). The old man said, he made that house because he cannot afford to buy building materials to make a house for his family. He just made that by hand with two simple tools. That old man was a legend and a true exampe for enginuity and perseverance.
2:53 Love the expression on manong's face when he was asking you why you want to go to the ocean. He seems suspicious that you have some sort of nefarious motives for going there.🤣 That zipline ride is so unique and awesome going over the water the way it does! Inday Jones strikes again!!!
So this is Masbate, the less traveled province but it is beautiful. I love about being Indiana Jones making your way through that narrow path with the guide and into a breathtaking scenery, you did great🤪🤪🤪🤪⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌎🌎👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Kumander Daot! Can you put in some Google Map links or place names in description.. Place you stayed looks nice, and also the zipline.. But didnt find it
Well my dad has a distant cousin who was born in Cataingan, Masbate, but she told me that the native language in that municipality is Cebuano, however I have heard her use different vocabulary words while speaking.
Locals will always try to protect and advise visitors to what part of the area are critical and unsafe to travel and will always do their best to help.
Fun fact: masbate has bunch of dialects These are the dialect and languages in masbate. North masbate: masbateño with bikol influence. South west of masbate: Illongo with masbate influence. South east of masbate: Cebuano Cebuano with masbate influence and then Masbateño with waray influence. And the central part is Pure masbateño.
Kumander, please make time for yourself. Your health is very important mentally and physically. Eat a good Filipino food, called Tinola, that has lots of nutiritious soup and chicken and vegetables. Eat it with rice. This will replenish your strength and health overall. Good luck to you, you can count on us.
Calbayog is great and I will be passing through again in September. Spent a few hours searching for the Samar Archaeological Museum last time I was there but never did find it. One day maybe..... Are the NPA really a serious threat to foreigners though? I was warned not to go to my fiancee's home town in the middle of the forest on Northern Samar but went anyway and spent a great 5 days there seeing things not many foreigners would see. No road to her town, just a muddy trail to walk along and rivers to cross making it an adventure all on it's own. Worth the risk....
I don't find them a serious threat to foreigners unless you're involved in certain industries... They are mostly a protection racket these days. As you say... People always tell you not to go, when you get there it's fantastic! Where is that town?
I was wondering that too. I had to cancel my plans to travel to Biri etc and was told it was unsafe for me to travel as a foreigner had recently been killed. I had a visit from the Barangay Captain to register my details (Nov 22).
@@backontherighttrack. To Biri?! I thought it was pretty safe there. Not heard of foreigners being killed in Northern Samar. I took that route including the wooden boats last year, no problem 🙂

Locals will always try to protect and advise visitors to what part of the area are critical and unsafe to travel and will always do their best to help.
Yes, because there are still communist rebels in the provinces and that includes Masbate.
What a cool hike, but I’d be afraid of snakes. Haha! Fun adventure!

NPAs do not touch foreigners; it is only the Muslim extremist who do. NPAs may ask for taxes from foreign companies but no physical harm.
