If people thought Mills,Exum,longley, bogut are pretty good Aussie Bballers, Gaze in his prime, early to mid 90's way before this video in 99, was like the Bird of NBL. Such a shame he played in the NBA during his twilight years..the guy was annoying to watch (I supported a opposing team) he would average high 30's 40+ a game, do little backdoor cuts..I can see him averaging high teens to 20 points a game in the NBA at least during his prime.
He still wasn't good enough at his peak to play NBA, Better (American) players than Gaze in the NBL, were cut from NBA teams in their peak, that's why they came to Australia, Gaze first played NBA at 29yo, could only manage 3 points per game, simply better players than him on the court!
