Grass Eating Behaviour in Dogs

Isn't this something dogs and cats do occasionally as form of 'medicine' to make themselves sick occasionally?
Allow me I have my own theory on this and I had no clue other people did also no one's ever heard my Siri but I believe it to be correct I have dogsand my male stud number one in the pack every time I take him out once a day I walk him around the perimeter of the yard and on all four sidesone side is the entrance side where are my driveway is by the road my dog knows that this is the side of the property which we allow people to enter from an exit from so every time I get to the point that is my driveway on my dog's perimeter Walk he will stop and eat the grass from exactly the corner of our perimeter then when we get to the other end of that line he eats more grass and then when we get to the back or maybe not so soon but the next time that the dog poops I can see the grass in it my theory is that the dog is marking his propertyhe's taking grass from one corner of the property and placing it together in the other corner of the property there for by smelling the dogs poop other dogs that is they will know which property is that dogs they can then either challenge by eating the poop which I see some dogs do only challengers by the way or they can roll into poopand put their hair in the other dogs poop to signify that they are willing to breed I think this is the case let me know if anyone's had some similar
