Rabbiah became a well-known Sufi member of Basrah City and many people came to her for clarification of religion. Nephi, in case you haven't been informed yet, this style of singing is known as "Irama Melayu", aka Malay Rhythm. So when you hear Siti Nurhaliza, Noraniza Idris, Jamal, M Nasir, etc. playing around with their voices - and sorry, I have no idea what the proper musical term is - then most probably it's Irama Melayu song. You can hear this in many of Siti Nurhaliza's older songs, such as Cindai. This sound is characteristic to traditional Malay songs, and, since I have absolutely no musical talent or skill, I'll just believe it when I've been informed that it's quite hard to do.
