Hi, when I scan the QR code, it opens the page and says system error. I enter my email, photos, and when I confirm it, it says that I am not connected to the Internet, and I have a full 4G network.
I purchased the DJI Mini 4K a weak ago and removed the 120M altitude limit, which is now limited to 500M. But I have some doubts. - Will I stop receiving brand updates? - Since I can now fly above 120 Meters, do I need a a C1 label to fly in A1?
Unknown... but honestly there is no point doing this after 01.01.2024 if you own the drone in 2023 (unless you live outside EU and can't travel to EU before 31.12.2023)
Will dji sell the mini 4 pro in a C1 certified version from 2024 in additionaly to the C0 ? If you unlock it and remove the C0 label, in what category is it then officially?
@@fred111180 not really, legacy drones must keep 150m horizontal distance from uninvolved people while C0 drones can fly over uninvolved people. Quite a big difference.
Ur video is incomplete and missleading. in EU, removing the C0 Sticker from 1/1/2024 will bring the drone to fall into SPECIFIC class that require even more strict parameters to fly, moreover will be needed and ID module on the flying drone. Please, before to suggest to people to do something, be informed in all the rules. If you are not from EU, simply avoid to post this kind of videos.
Wouldn't it be easier to not update, leave the co sticker in place, and just fly your damn drone? Seems pretty ridiculous all thks fuss over a sticker that allows you to fly in certain areas. How long till the counterfeit sticker market takes off? Sheese.
Not if you don't update...then you'd have original firmware /app that didn't impose the restriction...and the silly sticker. Can sticker be reapplied after going thru dji's steps? From their info...it isn't a "permanent" label till after 01/24 anyway
@@Poophead1Of course you can decide not to update BUT even if you don't update, from 01.01.2024 your drone will not be C0 compliant and will automatically be a legacy drone (sticker or no sticker). Actually the same status as if you declassify the drone until 31.12.2023. But of course you will also miss future firmware update. And if you decide to update after 31.12.2023 the is no garantee that you will still be able to declassify the drone and most llikely you will stick with 120m hard limit. Bottom line is: not updating is not a smart way to go.
With MTOM
There are absoultely no drawbacks in removing the C0 label, only the advantage of height limit lifted to 500m.
Remove without regrets.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this! Thx M8 ¶ ; - )

Thanks man and terrible restrictions in EU like everytime
Thank you for hope.
does this apply to the mini 3 as well?
Very good review Mike
I thought the drone laws in Australia were complicated. U win EU for that.
does the dji refresh still work after this?
Anyone know if you'll get the 'Declassification Prompt' in Ireland? As its an EU country and abides by the EASA. So I assume it'll work there?
hi,Is Turkey included in this altitude limit?...because Türkiye is not an EU country
Will you be able to to this after 1/01/24 with Mini 4 Pro bought in 2023?

Има ли вариант на мини 2 да се махне забраната . Но не успях да разбера правилно .

it is a legacy drone
@@RaduBogdan2k Exactly and a legacy drone lighter than 250gr and a C0 drone from 01.01.2024 operate under the same rules 🙂

Declassify it immediately
@@EvansNcube247365 how do you do it?

No, it won't. Can still be flown in Open Category sub-category A1.
@@rogjon1701 Not automatically.. Only if you subscribe to the C1 application form in early 2024 otherwise it will fall into Specific + Remote ID
@@rogjon1701 And.. falling into Sub Cat A3 will happen if the drone has a MTOM declared under 250gr. Mini 4 DO NOT have this MTOM declared.
And what exactly law enforcement agency are enforcing EU EASA rules and regulations do you think? 😂
No

Of course but then you’ll be always limited to 120m which is far from ideal
