      I really liked the video and am interested in watching more. will the course work for live lite or do you need intro or higher? and by chance will you be doing a black friday or end of year discount?

    • @AirZeee
      @AirZeee ปีที่แล้ว

      @@damienthorn2917(i expect but don’t know for sure) that Live Lite would be fine initially, but it has limitations. However, history has proven that limitation and overcoming them has resulted in much innovation- “necessity is the mother of all invention “.
      There are freeware synths etc out there too, so if budget is an issue, just get creative 👍

    Oscar, I consider myself fairly proficient and experienced with music production. In reality, I don't NEED to watch this video, as I am not in the target audience. However, your videos are a great watch, without fail. There is always more to learn, if you are hungry for knowledge and driven to develop your skills/art, and this channel provides a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment for all skill levels. I have even learned some really basic keyboard functions from your videos, which I kick myself for not knowing years ago! Keep it up-

    Wow!! Been goofing around with making music in software since cakewalk in the 90s. Just trial and error and I have always felt like there's tons that I'm missing and wish I knew. I just felt like a hack.Thanks so much for making this class and giving us a way to actually learn how to use these tools, develop some confidence, assuredness and start having a lot more fun. You're doing God's work Oscar!!

    This is absolutely amazing, thank you so much. It's really hard to get into music production at the start. The only thing that threw me off a bit is the fact that it feels like I'm looking into a mirror who just knows much more than me. But same "hair cut", same beard (length, color, gray spots), eye color, even the shirt and black nails. 😅

    I bought Live 10 Suite and have not fully committed since way back then... I've watched quite a few of your vids Oscar and your way of explaining things with visual references (drums and mixer) while obvious for most, have totally changed these simple concepts in Ableton for me... hugely appreciated!!

    This guy has my favourite tutorials for Ableton! Thanks for helping get me started. I want to ask does session view offer anything that arrangement view cannot do? I don't much like session view though I started with LMMS. What are the little boxes below Audio/MIDI? (Clips?) When I put notes in them through the piano roll they don't appear in arrangement view. I'm a little confused there and any help is much appreciated!

    Hey Oscar!
    Perhaps you or some of your other viewers can help me!
    What order do you recommend a beginner watches your videos in?
    I'm brand new to production and I've just watched the 'First Hour of Making Electronic Music' video which was incredibly helpful. I'd love to subscribe to your course but it's a bit pricey for the time being so I'm relying on your TH-cam videos.
    I'm just trying to understand simple structures and song progressions, so videos Like Hi Hat strategies (gears) and Syncopation are super helpful because they tell me where to place those notes.
    However, I've been jumping around - for example, I started with Dotted Bassline then half way through switched to the Moroder's Bassline video, then to Learn Any Synth, to Subtractive Synth, to finally this video. I feel like I should have done that in completely opposite order.
    Please help a newbie out :)
    P.S I've commented this on your other posts, I don't mean to spam you, I'm just hoping some views would chime in.
