Sjava spoke about starting afresh how difficult that it is, I can relate after finishing my Degree and worked for few years and I had to start a new Degree because I wasn’t copying and the journey hasn’t been easy….
If you don't mind me asking, why did you have to start a new degree? Is it in the same line of work or totally different?
@@DinoRenald I had to be honest with myself because with the one I had done the was no possible GROWTH, low income, but I thought the journey was gna be sweet and cute of which it was the opposite, at least am almost done, now am doing PostGrad in one of the highest paying professions in SA

Please focus on building a support network for yourself (inclusive of family, friends, fellow professionals/students in your field, connect with relevant professionals within your space & use the social platforms to market yourself and skillset - LinkedIn, etc.). Right now I am dating someone who loves me unconditionally though I was brutally honest about my inadequacies as uHlanganani wakwaMdibi. You will need to work on your inadequacies though. My son woke up one day n say I don’t want school anymore. He’s home n indeed there’s nothing we can do🥺 u just have to think of alternative education if he says no it’s also u to look for work for him cos wow. Democracy killed us🤦🏽♀️if u throw him out u get arrested. See why parents are depressed lately 😢

Mam, before making any decisions just try to speak to your son and ask him what is really going on. This has nothing to do with democracy. Maybe your son is experiencing severe depression and you're unaware of it. Try to take him to a social worker/counselor or therapist. He must have a valid reason. Also, some people do not like school vele or perhaps prefer a different alternative to traditional schooling which is not a bad thing at all. Talk to him.

Wow, nice interview. I love the song "Sayona" by Sjava and Big Zulu. There is a line sung by Sjava in Zulu where he says, "Sometimes I ask myself if I really matter in your life." I like it because I can relate to it; at one point in my life, I was asking myself the same question.
