Both of these look great. You never know what you're going to get with Evercade, but these both look like must plays. Thanks for you always being the first to let us the Evercade community know the latest news. Great video as always have a great one.
This cart looks decent. I haven't bought any carts this year, barring indie heros 3 back in February. Having sold off much of my evercade stuff, this might be a good purchase for my super pocket, which i kept hold of. Great video, as always 👍
@KeenRetroGames hey there buddy. If blaze would actually drop Novembers game of the month, I would have had a video out. But they refuse to for some reason 🤣 so I continue to wait for that, I was going to put an update at end of video. I have been working on videos but struggling at bit at mo, is all. Thanks so much for checking in, means a lot my friend.
@KeenRetroGames I'm on 12 hour shift today and tomorrow so will try and squeeze it in when i get home tonight if i don't flake out haha Cheers for letting me know my friend
It seems like a good cart to cap off the year with. I was aware of these Mega Drive games, and it´s positive yet another homebrew developer gets represented on Evercade. From previous reviews it sounds like Life on Mars is the better game of the two. I´ll probably not be buying this cart myself, I´ll be too busy with the 3 arcade carts! A worthy addition to the Evercade library either way.
I'm glad that Blaze are trying to present new games on these dual game carts but unfortunately I don't think the value is there with this one. Life on Mars is only a 3-4 HR game with reportedly little replayability although Metal Dragon is probably more suited to replaying. I'm sure this cart will still appeal to the completionists but it's a hard pass for me unfortunately. Great video as always Steve :-)
@jayme69 hey Jamie, I thought maybe LIFE ON MARS might be a shorter experience, but i love the look so much. And i adore full void and that was even shorter. Metal Dragon defo looks more score chasey and something to go back to. I willbalways buy for the channel but will admit I would probably bite anyway, you know what I'm like 🤣 bloomin ordered an Alpha didn't I, still trying to work out the justification in my head. I swear one of the reasons I have this channel is secretly so I can get everything and not justify it outside, yeah it's for the channel 🤣
@@aboyandhisdogRE I often justify purchases against the gaming FB group I regularly contribute to, lol. Don't get me wrong I think this is a great cart for people who have no other way to play these Indie games but I tend to play most indie games on PC for much less pennies :-)
@jayme69 no I totally got yeah. I don't do PC gaming. And my ps5 bairly has room for the big titles. So I love that I still get to see them on the Evercade. I think we spoke of this before didn't we. I treat my ps5 as the event machine for stuff like silent hill, final fantasy and my beloved super massive game series - god do I blindly love those games 😍🤣 and my Evercade is my day to day smaller games machine. Init.
@genejoke8538 hey genetics think they'll be goodens, especially the super metroid type one, but of course as always I guess, we'll have to wait and see.
Both games look great, 2024 is ending with a bang and 4 brilliant looking carts
@Cotswoldknight glad you are happy with the last load of carts. It's defo been a funny year this, ain't it.
I will wind up purchasing 6 carts this year the first two and the last four are bangers
@@Martin-gf1hh hey Martin, that's cool. Which system do you play on. The Vs or exp/pocket?

@bjornh1527 it's always great to get indie games. I as usual knew nothing about these so it's always a fun new experience for me 😁

@@aboyandhisdogRE It is for sure :-)
Life on Mars will take most people more than four hours. Both games have difficulty settings and according to the creators the higher the better!

@@aboyandhisdogRE possibly, and the Devs have a bunch of interesting Megadrive games so hopefully there will be more to come from them.
Life on mars looks great, but if I’m being honest, metal dragon just doesn’t look fun to play.
