Yeeeah, from the pessimistic start of the year it ends with a bang! I’m extremely pleased with the 3 arcade carts revealed, this one has the Toaplan games I was wishing for. Knuckle Bash is a game I’ve read about before and it seems like a completely off the wall crazy brawler! The playable cross between Elvis and Evil Kenivil is only the start of the wackiness… Very glad for Snow Brothers 2 too, I do love my single screen elimination platformers.
@bjornh1527 we do love off the walls. I thought you'd be happy with all the Arcade collections coming. I wonder what the last collecrion will be. Am guessing it's not arcade. Didn't they say one of the collections would be a bit quirky or something.
@@aboyandhisdogRE Well, I still would prefer not to be thrown between hope and despair 😊 Surely Toaplan 3 could have been released earlier in the year? Anyway, glad to end the year on a high note. You´re probably right about the final cart. So far I don´t get which of the revealed carts fits which clue, mind. But I recall hearing about something in the line of quirky, some interesting homebrew for consoles or native indie game sounds likely!
Blaze really needed to put a lid on Amazon-gate and seem to be repeating their errors with the Super Pockets. If they can afford to continue losing customers then I guess they can keep doing what they're doing. The Toaplan Arcade 4 Collection is fine but feels like a lazy release, especially with an 8 bit console game making the roster. Keep up the awesome work Steve :-)
@jayme69 most people use Amazon. Amazon does this to everyone. Like I say they do with my books. Amazon are just a bad service now, but they have the biggest reach. Every company uses them though. Customers have just got to stop going to them for things. It's just habit.
I use Amazon mainly because I get to choose the day they deliver, otherwise no one would be in. They also don't take the money until the items are dispatched unlike Funstock. It's really a necessity for me unfortunately.
Also there are literally no other Toaplan games to release. I wish they had stuck another console game on there too but oh well. At least Sky Shark has a soundtrack by Tim Follin, which is totally on brand for Evercade.
Looks like another solid Toaplan cart
@genejoke8538 hey Gene, yeah they have all been great so far, unless your not into vertical shooters lol
@@aboyandhisdogREthis one is the least shootery Toaplan collection yet!

If the EXP-R releases on time and without stocking issues il eat my legacy carts 😂
@benironside1264 lmao. Maybe not a legacy cart ay, you know what a fekker some are to get now 🤣
@@aboyandhisdogRE true, I will sell them.. buy a hat.. and eat that
@benironside1264 now ya talking. And if you get a straw hat when you've eaten it, on the last bite you can say "Because it was the last straw"
It's already two months late, so I expect it to release as scheduled.
@@KeenRetroGames so BECAUSE it’s been pushed back you expect it to be released on time? That’s optimistic
I would love to see Evercade release a Shadowrun cart
We really need a Seibu Kaihatsu cart or three. Beyond the Raiden games they have tons of interesting selections.
@@KeenRetroGames Raiden 😍

Yeah, Blaze can afford to stop selling stuff on Amazon alright 🤪
