Dude, you shared excellent info, conquered the new dark aether on your first try, got through some glitches. This was VERY well edited, and an extremely helpful vid. Thanks, and keep up the awesome work! The edit of the zoomed in ACV health made it so exciting. Best zombies video I’ve seen in a long time.
This video is the first time for me seeing Donut being terrified as well as mad. What a moment.
Also, it's just the Juggernaut that's not allowed to be used in this Dark Aether. You'll be fine with sentry guns and airstrikes. I think it's by design.
Thermites are what one needs to bring in for the mega if you don’t think your gun can take him out fast enough. Just store your Aether blade and equip the thermites.
I used a juggernaut yesterday it's really fucked up how hard they're making this for us especially if you go in solo or with a trio
@@mash2481 I agree, I forgot to mention the thermites. You're right mate, they're quite effective especially when you hit them square in the mouth when it does his laser blast.
I ran it last night with a group - we didn't make it through the escort contract. we had one fella that was very chatty, and totally disorganized. It was the sweatiest DA to date, and we didn't even complete it - had 2 minutes to get out and no one knew where the exfil was - got out with beret schem, and usable golden mask and dead wire - can't wait to go back in tonight.
Did it last night with a crew and we did every contract and the bonus boss for the ram 7 BP with a little time to spare. Cleanest run I've ever had
It’s funny how the temporary buffs in the dark aether are pretty crazy and then we get pretty lukewarm schematics.

Just fyi you don't need to shoot symbols on wall to perform the summoning. You can just go to the perform the summoning point and activate it. Shooting symbols is only for the rewards, legendary tool and flawless pack
But if you won't shoot the symbols they you won't have the triangle appear, right? Sounds like it doesn't add up 🤔
Okay, so granted you mean we know where the triangle should be, we could just go there directly and perform the summoning? That's pretty cool if true!
@@winterfellyt yes that's exactly what I mean. Try it in a next game. Get a purple relic, go to T3 corresponding triangle, find summoning point and activate it(without shooting symbols, hold Square or X to start the summoning) Have fun!

That was intense as hell. Almost every emotion on display through the run and that finish…wow!!
Myself and another guy had the "portal won't spawn" glitch as well, but couldn't get the laptop back off the postal stand. We had to go find a merc camp and get another, covert it gold in Tier 3 and try again. It worked that time. We were only able to complete 2 contracts (ACV destroyed) but it was a butt-kicking SO MANY SPECIAL Zombies). The Nuke ability was glitched and never gave us one after deading the highlighted zombies.
Next time bringing a VR-11 would help you guys a ton, at least at a Level 1 PaP, it will heal your ACV.
Man you got that same glitch I got, absolutely infuriating when you're set up and ready and it REFUSES to let you open the rift. So glad there's video proof of this
I was not ready after I put the objects on the pedestals. I swear, 3 hvt abominations, 2 hvt manglers, 2 hvt disciples maybe more. I swear every time I went to get ammo more showed up. I was lucky a random team came by and helped because I came straight in with no perks and just couldn’t beat all that crap
I heard the longer u take to take everything out, the more the disciple will spawn things

@@stkiswr yea I saw it with the secret boss in the da. The first time I did it there must’ve been 10 freaking specials spawned lol n the second time I did it someone must’ve been running a really good gun or something cause we tore thru it’s health after the first minion spawn
@Doughnuts That was actually a super fun video to watch. I think it’s because thats how all my solo runs look. Just me running around like a chicken with my head cut off spraying bullets trying to complete challenges and barely making it.

This made me feel better. I tried to hurry and just do the regular one with the giraffe and I died. I did not bring enough items with me and thought I was fine with just tier 2 zombies, but I was overconfident and underprepared.

That glitch where the items wouldn't activate the portal happened to us when we we're getting the second aether opened up.
how did ya fix it? I been trying for 3 hours still won’t open for me
@@pleasentt I too encountered the bug during season 2. The bug occurred back then when placing the items during the storm expanding. Starting a new match and placing the items right away should work.

@@pleasentt I had to bring them into the next game, when you put the stuff in make sure its just you putting all for items in the pedestals, idk if that will work but also make sure you put them in the spots correctly on the first try. Id do asap in a game to get it open then go about it as you normally would. Idk if other people doing it will mess it up either.
We kept trying to bring a 6 person squad but it would only let us bring 3 of us! You must have the Scorcher for the new Dark Aeither!!! Its difficult asf!
After trying the 3 pedestal power-ups last night I said the same thing to my teammates that those power-ups should have been the 3 schematics instead of the ones we got.
That Deadwire upgrade seems a bit better than I thought. It's a good upgrade when your Aether blade is on cooldown. Works real good with Molotovs, Shatter mods, and surely the RGL.
This one is my favorite video so far. The "suck it" at the end of the outlast took me out. Beyond relatable. GGs!

exact same thing happened to me when putting the items on the pedestal, it randomly activated after a minute or so when the smoke started to expand and had to fight the boss and mega in the smoke 😂
Man I just want to say I use the VR-11 a lot and the play you made grabbing that instakill and healing your ACV that was badass that was one of the best plays I have ever saw good stuff my brother you truly are a bad mamah jamma I bet I rewatched that part 5 times the VR-11 is kinda hard to shoot at long distance but you did it perfectly I’m truly truly impressed my friend keep up the amazing content I love watching your stuff
You shooting the ACV when it was at 34% was so clutch. I couldn’t even see it for the zombies.
the vr 11 electrofies everything that touches the zombie you shoot. so all he had to do was shoot a zombie and the whole horde was electrified which replenish the acv since all it took was one zombie to make contact with it.
That new dark aether is not something to do solo. I mean, it's possible, but you have to be 100% strapped with EVERYTHING because if not.... You will not survive.

oh and at 15:00 those orbs I have no clue but I am pretty sure one guy in one of my games said it is a glitch showing Scorcher even if you don't have any
The items on the podiums in the new dark aeither give you special abilities. The foot gives you unlimited stamina aka feets, the arm gives you a good amount more nukes to hit, and the roundish ammo mindblowing mod outlines the zombies in yellow, you hit a head shot they all explode.

Lucky you to get all 3 items upgraded in one run, its 3rd day of the patch and i cant upgrade journal cause either ritual is ongoing by someone else, it bugs out eating my purple item, or never spawns a super hound and i have to repeat it all over in next game..
Make sure you use interact button to do the summoning. U gotta move around til it pops up otherwise you will lose your item n just get a tool and crystal

This is why I always team up with randoms toward the end of the match if I launch solo, better to carry five then be buried alone

Just an idea. If you shoot 2 symbols and have a friend shoot the third, it might be the best way to get a guaranteed legendary tool and a pak 3 crystal 🤷♂️
You can always get both of them even if you shoot all 3 symbols all you have to do is not use any of the objects
I went to sigal one with my friend , 2 hours ago and did all 3 contracts but then there is a 3 small spure eggs you need to destroy to finally can destroy a big egg that will spawn a final disaiple boss that is very difficult , we couldn't beat him and just exfil.
at 13:00 welcome to the club bro. Same thing happened to me I just reset (exfil and infil again) and it worked
Thanks for the video. I think all the new schematics are pretty dumb. I didn't think about the increased running speed, exploding headshots, and the other thing being the new schematics but you're right. They'd be much better than something that just let's you walk into a fortress or merc camp and not get shot at

Is there a cooldown period for turning the items gold as me and my team went into tier 3 did one of the summons and got the gold item but when we went to the second one the symbols weren’t there we went back 3 times and they never appeared?
at 22:19 I went straight for Elder solo....cause I am an idiot I survived thanks to RGL and scorcher without it I don't think I would stood a chance

it was really crazy with zombies. you need a team. we had six and completed all three with 5 minutes to spare. got golden mask, munitions and beret. great video 👍
Doughnuts , during the ACV use the thermites to your advantage to slow the enemies coming from behind by slamming it in the back of the ACV or on the road, thermites can slow enemies.
Ps.: no clue if it works in aether hopefully it does
I got to give credit they actually did a pretty good job with the new dark eather ! It's probably my favorite so far , I hope we're able to get The rainmaker warlord operator from update would be pretty cool ! I love the new smoke signals blueprint I thought it was a pretty cool Easter egg maybe moving forward we're able to unlock stuff like that everyone enjoys it.
That was insane. I just went into the regular dark aether 3 yesterday (3 of us) and we didn't face that many zombies.

The funny part is he was only in T4. Love that they made this significantly harder.
Just to make getting the Science Journal easy, if the storm is located in Tier 1, thats means in the storm will be Tier 2 Zombies. If the storm is in Tier 2, Tier 3 Zombies will be in the storm. Tier 3 storm, Tier 3 or 4 Zombies? Idk. My advice, I suggest going to the storms in Tier 1, and killing Tier 2 Zombies for Science Journal.
When I was trying to attun the relics I kept running into people that had already done it already but weren’t doing it for the relics so the things you shoot just disappeared so I had to keep doing another game. I wasted so much time trying to do this I was about to give up but I finally got it done while wasting 2 scorchers to get their first.
Drop a decoy in the kill zone should drag zombies away from the interruptors.
I played last night. Don't know how but I did 2 contracts in tier 2 and I got 2 pack 2 crystals and then 1 more pack 2 crystal in a eather nest just in the box with he purple on it. So 3 pack 2 crystals in 1 game.

Does anyone know about those reward rifts work ? , are they just bugged some games or do they have a limited usage or cool-down and a time limit? Late in the round they didn’t show up most the time, or every time, early it’s occupied, anyone knows how it works??

I had the same thing happen to me when trying to open the gate, all the items were glowing but the gate never opened, will try again tomorrow

Did this on with friends and it was a pain. Did the spore at the end which almost got us killed but was worth it for the ram 7 blueprint and the reward rift was worth it
I also heard ppl r griefing the pedestals when ppl go to place the items. They can actually remove the item after uve placed it n take it from u.
Yep, had a team camp mine to try and steal them. So sad tbh.

Took me forever to find the right spot to "perform the summoning". I was getting weak on this for about 7 tries.
That was the most suspense ever packed into 30 minutes that I have ever experienced.
Yesterday, I popped the dog bone at a merc camp, the dog appeared, howled, and disappeared. So now I go to the storm and killed over 300 zombies in the gas and got no reward rift. I did have to run in and out of the gas to reload and repair the gas mask. I don't know if that makes a difference?
Same crap keeps happening to me. Been trying to open this portal since update 😒
the rgl and vr-11 might be a good shout for this one by the looks of it
I tried soloing the regular version with RGL, went horrible because this new rift spawns a fuckton of specials (especially Mimics) which are largely resistant to explosives. RGL & VR-11 work great but should defo go in as duo or more (or at the very least, with a dog) because you're going to get easily overwhelmed by bazillions of specials.
What loadout/ attachments are you using. I have seen dat symbol for crosshairs but don’t know what makes it that way.. any info would be appreciated

You know what, I think so too‼️ I was with a team last night, and we was getting ready to go into the new DA, and SAME THING happened to us... Put all gold items on pedestools and nothing was happening. Storm was also moving across the map too.
No it just doesn't let you open the portal in the same game you get the items gold
@@paulkinsey9153 not true. It happened to me too, but I had my duo throw their items in and it worked. We upgraded the pieces in the same game. I think it’s just super buggy right now

I did the story mission without selecting the mission. I have to do it again and then do everything to open the portal. Is it like it used to be where you lose the purple items but not if upgraded to gold?
hey doughnuts. you can do the rift multiple times. its just the main mission that cant be done twice.
Not sure what the deal is but same thing happened to me and after second try it wouldn't let me pick up giraffe, laptop. So I'm not sure if I can get the golden giraffe from story mission again.
All you need to do if the triangles are shot is to interact with performing the summons with the item.
It did the same thing to me except I couldn’t take my items back and now I have to go through getting them all again
Does anybody know what those pink or red orbs are that follow you around? It’s been doing it for the past week and a half I don’t understand what it is or why it’s following me for something in the future?
I've been in 2 games tonight and the purple hieroglyphics wasn't spawning in, that and a bug with red and purple orbs following you around.

It wasnt because you didnt shoot them all, it was because you didnt start the summons......you get a legendary aether tool and flawless everytime you do one of them without doing the summons. Quite cool if you need either.
Also the wunderwaffe is sooo fun to use in here

Agree! Have a wunderwaffe, vr11 and 1 additional teammate is all you need with selfie and kaz as a back up incase knock downs occur in the game
How can i find squads to do dark aether runs with? I still don't have season 1 or 2 schematics never mind season 3. Cant seem to get it done solo.
When killin the sergeant you don't have to use the dog. There is an easier way to do it. Unsure if the vr11 needs to be pack-a-punched but it was pap1 with times I did this. Just shoot the sergeant with vr11 to get rift and grab laptop with stickers
See, you got to believe in yourself. You got it. The tyr is good damage but the dps on bosses isnt that good compared to other weapons. The ram 9 and elvorere is real good

I went in there unprepared for my first time and it was Elder and it was so hard the lil car blew up in like 30 secs its crazy
When u do your next video. Can you please call out the sector where the exfil portal is or easiest route. I dont want to die running around aimlessly trying to find the exit. Also a contract/location correlation would be awesome too. So do them in the right order. Also what happens if u start a contract then cancel. Will it respawn or do you have to come back again?

I’m wonder when someone will find out what to do with the arm, leg, and head aside from using it for power ups
Need to do escort first to get the nuke drop power up item. That will help immensely for all three contracts
How about quick guides for in game on how to beat stuff? Shorts that are the facts for locations so if you forget in the moment you can hit a little reminder?
Sentry guns will be key in this one vs Kas grenades based on the layout.
