I went into tier 3 for the first time last night and was just running around. I ran into a team that dropped me tons of goodies! I was very thankful and they said they have everything they need and didn't need any of it. Pretty cool people in zombies mode!
There are a lot of nice people in zombies, definitely more than multiplayer and stuff. But the only times have had dick heads in my lobby was people taking the LTV from the deliver cargo contract I took and throwing it into water. One dude and his team had the audacity to say “lol he mad” after getting mad I took the contract instead of just joining my squad :/
Agree, doesn’t happen very often but I got revd by a player and he invited me to the group and they were going to tier 3, one even dropped a gun for me bc I want even ready for t2 and then we went to the DA. I got the aether blade and the plates.

Same! That alone is worth the like! :) One other top tip there is how to go into tier 3. Like shown here, take it slow heading in. So much panic when driving in and suddenly being surrounded by 20 rabid zombies when the car gets wrecked. Though I will call out in answer to the mentioned comment 'hey doughnuts how come there are less...' is that *it seems to me* the later you go into T3 the quicker zombies spawn: i.e. if you imagine each area has a max limit on how many can be spawned at one time, that limit goes up as the clock ticks down. It's actually true everywhere, but in T3 you're gonna notice it more! #StaySmartShootSprinters
I actually have done extensive testing before with silencers on weapons in zombies. I've noticed a very considerable difference with how many zombies got aggressive with me when I was shooting them with a silenced weapon compared to an unsuppressed one. I've even had cases where I was firing at a group of zombies one by one at near point blank range, and the other zombies that would've otherwise got aggro'd, didn't even notice I was there. It's why I always put silencers on my insured weapons. It's that and armor piercing bullets for their piercing capability with crowds. Those 2 attachments on weapons for MWZ have been lifesavers for me.
To this day I still wonder if muzzle and laser sight attachments aggro zombies more or less depending what the player uses. If the attachment gives you the disadvantages in multiplayer, do those disadvantages also work on zombies? Does it give you more or less zombies?
Yes silencers work. I thought it was a bug but it actually works really well. bosses just stand there and don't even notice you. And way less zombies come to attack

Sliding to gain distance and replate or reload at same time is a small but very helpful thing especially if ur getting a lil overwhelmed and need to reload or plate up cuz it saves u a lil bit of time and keeps ur momentum up!
Let me give you a tip that really helped me with anything in life. Doing something you fear can be very rewarding, I once fought the worm with literally a grey weapons but I had a bunch of people giving me confidence and I literally got schematics for t3 pack and everytime I did something I'm scared of I always got something pretty dang good Fear is just a feeling, overcoming that fear will be rewarding I can assure you😊❤❤❤
The slide plate technique was GENIUS. Conquering T3 is my only barrier to this game at this point. I got all schematics and most of the of the OP guns leveled up but I don't feel comfortable running the Dark Aether every game. To be comfortable, I need to be comfortable in T3. You see the connection?
Completely get it . If I don’t start well in tier 3 I don’t feel I’d do well in the dark aether . If I have everything I need then im golden and definitely going into the dark aether . I don’t have all my schematics unlocked yet. But my team and I love to give it a go. Any chance we get!
Each tier indicates how many chunks of flesh. And also if u don't wanna waste the time going through that escort contract then use the purple balls in tier 3. If there are enough zombies I usually get at least 3 chunks and then seek out the 3 dog house locations in tier 3
Bonus Lesson: Don't go near mercs!!! Stay away. They hurt. Unless you have a story mission for them (like me...9/10 killed with a sentry bc my teammates wouldn't stop killing them on our bounty - 2nd lesson; if your teammates have a goal, please help them, don't screw them over. Put your headset on huh? Unless their mic has baaaad feedback or something, keep your headphones on. You never know when they MIGHT be trying to accomplish something!!!), steer clear of strongholds!! Easy way to be downed by snipers, rocket-launching annoying mercs, etc.
Can you do this type of guide for the Dark Aether? I have got all the schematics for tier 1,2, and 3 and completed all the acts. I’m ready to get the good loot now lol
What do you need a guide for? Do you not know how to play Zombies after beating all the Acts? DA, which is just ACT 4, tier 4 and 5, which each one is slightly harder than the last. All the same principals apply. Just have a good gun if going solo and have good gear going into. It's best to go with a team but your choice. Going solo means nothing by the way, just something some players do.
Thank you for explaining how to move around….run, tac sprint and slide…never knew that method and will def spend some time getting it down. Although I’ve played T3, dark aether and even elder DA once, I was frustrated at being hit from behind all the time lol. This vid was so helpful!
A lot of people only go for big box chests. But all loot things have chance for good stuff! I’ve seen tools, armor, weapons in zip bags and tool boxes!
I've had games where ive taken out better loot from boxes etc than i have the contracts! Always check lockers too, more so if you need a bigger backpack or vest.
Don't be afraid guys. I go in there at the start of the game with fist only, go to the top of the tower in tier 3 and parachute to where the players are. And they are really nice and help most of the time. I'm telling you. Only carry one gun. And use fist with stamin up to sprint

OMFG doughnuts i literally was about to do a tier 3 whatever fun run and one of the dude said if anybody wants to do elder dark aether run and i got everything
Tip, put 2 inhibitors on 1 spore, it will remove it's armor almost instantly. That slide armor equip is nice, didn't know. I made it a habit to jump, hit slide in mid air and then reload button and character will slide when landing while also reloading. Got used to it from MW2019.
I had a fully pack'd ACR and a handful of perks & managed to solo 5 contracts in tier 3 with a 1-plate vest, filling your inventory with plates is a life saver
I was going from zero to hero yesterday after my failed bid at the legacy fortress. I picked up a deliver cargo contract that was right by tier 3. Some other dude came running by me with a horde chasing him. I almost crapped myself as I was not prepared for tier 3. Luckily I was able to get into a car and get out of there.

I can confirm that using a suppressor limits the agro of the zombies. Back to back testing with most all the suppressors and JAK BFG. Tests repeated with other muzzle devices. From what I can gather, the JAK BFG does not agro zombies anymore than the other non-suppressor's. If your trying to farm zombie kills, use a regular muzzle device, if your trying to move around the map, do contracts etc., use a suppressor.
It's not unlimited or faster like cw so idk wtf it really does lol. It don't feel much faster after an hr running around tier 3 without scorcher following your squad lmao
Agreed. I play Cold War zombies with my hubby and stamin up is noticeably faster when you use it. I was really disappointed with it here because I don’t really see a huge difference. I wonder if someone has stats on this

8:00 Big tip for beginners drop TWO inhibitors at a time, it effects the spore much faster then picc them up and repeat. It’s very useful to drop 2 and picc them up
Love his. Watched another streamer who was like "if you're a beginner, this is how you do tier 3" and he instantly pops golden armor, aether blade, legendary aether tool, tier 3 PAP.... Great video and outstanding tips. I've been dipping my toes in tier 3 and getting my ass handed to me, and know I see the mistakes I was making (I'm one of those "many people" you see making the mistakes you pointed out) and know how to improve my chances. Can't wait to get grinding! Thanks!
For the mega abominations, semtex does the same thing as termite in regards to blowing up the face, in fact I like it better than thermite due to the aoe size of semtex if I use it on regular zombies. Plus if you don't stow extra lethal grenades, the final head on mega abominations has double health compared to the other heads, so break the first one or two heads with your gun then grenade the final one for an easy break

Another random tip, if uncomfortable use frost ammo to slow stuff down, a random proc on the super runners make them snail pace. Also use the healing pulse field upgrade as it revives teammates if you are close enough
I get about 2-3 Circuits before jumping into tier 3. They sometimes spawn in some great areas where you can sit and watch Mega Abominations, hoards, and specials get shredded. Always get at least 2 Legendary Tools from the MA’s.
Dead shot is way better and more effective on controller 🤷♂️I play ps5 and play on 20 20 sensitivity and dead shot makes a big difference, once you get a grip of the rotation I swear it’s the best sensitivity 👍

tier 3 isn't the friendliest zone if you are planning to go in there DO NOT go in with 1 self revive since zombies after you revive yourself THEY CAN INSTANTLY START ATTACKING so i suggest having 4-5 self revives super sprinters are the only threat if you get stuck they will come up to you possibly sponging all the bullets and the other zombies will catch up and down you if you go down start smacking the zombies with your fists it puts out your anger and then revive yourself if you want to kill an abomination take it to tier 2 in a staircase and it'll get stuck trying to laser you but it will miss non-stop it will spam that laser there is also one staircase in tier 3. (i hope this helped)
My wife and I were playing yesterday and went to help 2 guys that went down on another squad. We picked them up and they dropped us 4 flawless crystals, a few legendary tools, some golden plates and an Aether blade case! Always help fellow players!

4:17 usually i get 30x super printer armored zombies with 2x mimic and disciples chasing me :) oh and dont forget the 10 dogs and mega that aggroed me out from nowhere.
Don’t forget quick revive perk. Not from faster self revives but the 50% faster health regeneration after taking hits. Along with Jug perk that boost health.
I was happy to get the Jak Purifier flame thrower. Makes facing hordes head on more fun... Vs just running. Still gotta watch your back and run when you run out of flame thrower fuel, but running non stop got old quick. Hopefully they don't nerf the Jak Purifier.
Great video, you make it look so easy, I love zombies but as a very inexperienced player I'm always hoping for an experienced player who's willing to help. When those players are in my squad I have so much fun

I started running with a brake instead of a silencer while doing weapon camos and feel like I get the kills more quickly. I noticed while I was rounding them up that just running around and shooting seems to drag them in from further away but that could just be confirmation bias.
My go to is the sentry turret, it only costs 2k essence and can really help out on HVTs when using an under powered weapon. Plus you can buy them at the safer tier 2 buy stations.
An easy way to get extra thermites for megabombs is to drop 1 from your lethal slot and stow it then refill at ammo caches. If you have 3-4 you can kill it without a gun. Easy wa to get free essence and 3 plates or large bags.
Best is tombstone stash always keep it which helped me to get essence of 250k(of course it tooks times and days by doing tier 3 contract and some times dark ether contract) and also always stow your aether blade after doing it was helpful for me in when ever I play mach again and again
If you're in tier 3 run with the Juggernaut canister in your hand and you can always have two weapons faster than all the zombies in except for the dogs
I'm still surprised with how many players don't know about the thermite grenades and Megabombs mouths. I believe it works with molotovs as well. Napalm Burst for them is solid too. But the thermite in their mouths is a similar mechanic for something they did in Cold War. Two Thermites for the 1st two mouths, and Napalm Burst to finish off the 3rd usually makes them go down pretty quick. I always have a Jug-suit on hand for the ones in tougher locations where you have less cover like the one that spawns out by the Radar tower, or lure it to the Fire Station nearby and train any zombies on the staircase on the outside that leads to the roof.
A lot of Battle Rifles lack some of that extra damage or Fire Rate, but I've been finding them to be quite good lately, my normal weapons if I'm not typically grinding camos though I run the Lockwood 680 (obviously) or the M13b
Woah woah woah now gonuts, the ram 9 is absolutly not a nothing gun. Ive maxed leveled every smg exclusivly in zombies and the ram 9 if setup right, is imo the best. Its my 2nd favorite gun at this point. I noticed it seems to do an odd ammount of damadge to the red worm as well. EDIT: Ram 9: slate reflector optic but I just went to jak glassless, grimline laser, imperator light barrel, DR6 hand stop, retort grip tape. Feel free to try this build. If youve got speed cola and deadshot then there isnt anything you cant do.
Ftac siege from last year is surprisingly good once you pack and obviously use a ether tool at least rare the thing has 144 bullets to a clips with 500 something reserved. 1 shot to the head and melts the worm to almost to half health with one mag
If you put one decoy grenade in your backpack, you can restocking at three do you have one and now you’ve took it also only takes three termites to kill a mega abomination and what do you mean you can just do the same thing I told you to if you get four thermite, it’s better just in case if you miss
I nearly have every schematic from tier 3 all i need is an epic aether tool plans so this helps lots with going to tier 3 without using many schematics to do so

I had lost my gear in the previous game due to a glitch and thought I have nothing to lose now so I just went in and did it, but once I got geared up (found a big bag and 3 plate in the same run) I didn't want to risk losing it so I returned to tier 2). Nonetheless, it was a huge deal for me lol, feeling more and more comfortable to go tier 3 now.

Did the same and I now have at least level 1 pack a punch schematic. I’m old and just play here and there . No time to grind

Something I've started doing is escort contracts in tier 1 getting 4 zombie chunks and get a hellhound. Really good if you play solo.

You only need 3 and thats for all 3 teirs. More space in the backpack for loot.

Somebody gave me the tier 3 crystal schematic, but man, I really want the tier 2 crystal and purple tool schematics, but jesus, they don't drop.

Man I love zombies but I literally suck at it as soon as I get to tier two I always die and this last time I some good stuff. I almost cried 😅
I can confirm that using a suppressor limits the agro of the zombies. Back to back testing with most all the suppressors and JAK BFG. Tests repeated with other muzzle devices. From what I can gather, the JAK BFG does not agro zombies anymore than the other non-suppressor's. If your trying to farm zombie kills, use a regular muzzle device, if your trying to move around the map, do contracts etc., use a suppressor.
I feel like Stamin up perk doesnt work like it used to...feels nerfed. U should be able to outrun all tier 3 zombies...except the hounds..
It's not unlimited or faster like cw so idk wtf it really does lol. It don't feel much faster after an hr running around tier 3 without scorcher following your squad lmao
Agreed. I play Cold War zombies with my hubby and stamin up is noticeably faster when you use it. I was really disappointed with it here because I don’t really see a huge difference. I wonder if someone has stats on this
Stamina up caught a huge nerf back in Season 1, I think. You cant outrun sprinters anymore. It's not really useful anymore.

8:00 Big tip for beginners drop TWO inhibitors at a time, it effects the spore much faster then picc them up and repeat. It’s very useful to drop 2 and picc them up

You have fast become my favourite MW3 zombies creator.Your vids are both entertaining and educational (I've got plenty of hours in zombies but never knew about the plating while sliding) and im always keen to load them up when they pop up on my feed. The only contracts that really spawn up is the spore control the rest either takes forever or never pops up
If you dont have a lot of loot or dont have a big backpack, i recommend speed cola, deadshot, and juggernog/quickrevive

For the mega abominations, semtex does the same thing as termite in regards to blowing up the face, in fact I like it better than thermite due to the aoe size of semtex if I use it on regular zombies. Plus if you don't stow extra lethal grenades, the final head on mega abominations has double health compared to the other heads, so break the first one or two heads with your gun then grenade the final one for an easy break

Another random tip, if uncomfortable use frost ammo to slow stuff down, a random proc on the super runners make them snail pace. Also use the healing pulse field upgrade as it revives teammates if you are close enough
I get about 2-3 Circuits before jumping into tier 3. They sometimes spawn in some great areas where you can sit and watch Mega Abominations, hoards, and specials get shredded. Always get at least 2 Legendary Tools from the MA’s.
Dead shot is way better and more effective on controller 🤷♂️I play ps5 and play on 20 20 sensitivity and dead shot makes a big difference, once you get a grip of the rotation I swear it’s the best sensitivity 👍

I have done hundreds of contracts in tier 3 to get the pack 2 crystal schematic and he gets it when he doesn’t even try.
Tier 3 zone is just scary man, maybe if I use a smaller tv, the mega abomination will look smaller.

tier 3 isn't the friendliest zone if you are planning to go in there DO NOT go in with 1 self revive since zombies after you revive yourself THEY CAN INSTANTLY START ATTACKING so i suggest having 4-5 self revives super sprinters are the only threat if you get stuck they will come up to you possibly sponging all the bullets and the other zombies will catch up and down you if you go down start smacking the zombies with your fists it puts out your anger and then revive yourself if you want to kill an abomination take it to tier 2 in a staircase and it'll get stuck trying to laser you but it will miss non-stop it will spam that laser there is also one staircase in tier 3. (i hope this helped)
My wife and I were playing yesterday and went to help 2 guys that went down on another squad. We picked them up and they dropped us 4 flawless crystals, a few legendary tools, some golden plates and an Aether blade case! Always help fellow players!

Don’t forget quick revive perk. Not from faster self revives but the 50% faster health regeneration after taking hits. Along with Jug perk that boost health.

I was happy to get the Jak Purifier flame thrower. Makes facing hordes head on more fun... Vs just running. Still gotta watch your back and run when you run out of flame thrower fuel, but running non stop got old quick. Hopefully they don't nerf the Jak Purifier.

I tend to farm circuits in Tier 1/2 before going into Tier 3. As I use them it frees up stash space to pickup perks in Tier 3.

I started running with a brake instead of a silencer while doing weapon camos and feel like I get the kills more quickly. I noticed while I was rounding them up that just running around and shooting seems to drag them in from further away but that could just be confirmation bias.
My go to is the sentry turret, it only costs 2k essence and can really help out on HVTs when using an under powered weapon. Plus you can buy them at the safer tier 2 buy stations.

An easy way to get extra thermites for megabombs is to drop 1 from your lethal slot and stow it then refill at ammo caches. If you have 3-4 you can kill it without a gun. Easy wa to get free essence and 3 plates or large bags.

Best is tombstone stash always keep it which helped me to get essence of 250k(of course it tooks times and days by doing tier 3 contract and some times dark ether contract) and also always stow your aether blade after doing it was helpful for me in when ever I play mach again and again
I use the chimera because it has a default suppressor already. And I can say it does seem like smaller horses than not having a suppressor
If you're in tier 3 run with the Juggernaut canister in your hand and you can always have two weapons faster than all the zombies in except for the dogs
That happens to me all time when I'm getting chased by a horde running backwards 😂
I'm still surprised with how many players don't know about the thermite grenades and Megabombs mouths. I believe it works with molotovs as well. Napalm Burst for them is solid too. But the thermite in their mouths is a similar mechanic for something they did in Cold War. Two Thermites for the 1st two mouths, and Napalm Burst to finish off the 3rd usually makes them go down pretty quick. I always have a Jug-suit on hand for the ones in tougher locations where you have less cover like the one that spawns out by the Radar tower, or lure it to the Fire Station nearby and train any zombies on the staircase on the outside that leads to the roof.
A lot of Battle Rifles lack some of that extra damage or Fire Rate, but I've been finding them to be quite good lately, my normal weapons if I'm not typically grinding camos though I run the Lockwood 680 (obviously) or the M13b

Woah woah woah now gonuts, the ram 9 is absolutly not a nothing gun. Ive maxed leveled every smg exclusivly in zombies and the ram 9 if setup right, is imo the best. Its my 2nd favorite gun at this point. I noticed it seems to do an odd ammount of damadge to the red worm as well.
EDIT: Ram 9: slate reflector optic but I just went to jak glassless, grimline laser, imperator light barrel, DR6 hand stop, retort grip tape.
Feel free to try this build. If youve got speed cola and deadshot then there isnt anything you cant do.

Ftac siege from last year is surprisingly good once you pack and obviously use a ether tool at least rare the thing has 144 bullets to a clips with 500 something reserved. 1 shot to the head and melts the worm to almost to half health with one mag

If you put one decoy grenade in your backpack, you can restocking at three do you have one and now you’ve took it also only takes three termites to kill a mega abomination and what do you mean you can just do the same thing I told you to if you get four thermite, it’s better just in case if you miss
I nearly have every schematic from tier 3 all i need is an epic aether tool plans so this helps lots with going to tier 3 without using many schematics to do so

I had lost my gear in the previous game due to a glitch and thought I have nothing to lose now so I just went in and did it, but once I got geared up (found a big bag and 3 plate in the same run) I didn't want to risk losing it so I returned to tier 2). Nonetheless, it was a huge deal for me lol, feeling more and more comfortable to go tier 3 now.
