Interesting video and it looks like you had a good holiday in spite of your tumble. The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway was put up for sale in 1960 by the Keswick Granite Co. who wanted £22,000 for it. In a poor state, it went for £12,000 lock stock and barrel. That's around £300,000 in today's money - a bargain.

The weather could not have been better - we had about an hour's rain on Friday evening and that was it.

I dare say it makes a few quid these days - the trains were full. . . . there again, I bet it ain't so nice in February.
