You did good without specialized gear. That dusty bottom is the key. I have a rocky spot like that in the middle of a bunch of ledges.25 miles out. Really fine dusty sand/mud always has flounder stacked up. Problem is we have almost no flounder season right now. So I never go to it anymore.
Great video. Nice fish too!!
Thank you
Nice stringer...
Thank you
Flounder kabobs with the shaft. Awesome!
That was so much fun

Seem like they were more interested in the shell bottom on this wreck. The pattern blended in perfectly with the shells
Awesome! I only seen four. They hide pretty good, nice catch.
It’s tricky for sure
Tight squeeze to get that shaft!
Getting in wasn’t bad but getting back out was a little weird. Noticed how I checked my air pressure before going in.🤣
Nice dive!!
Definitely something different for me
All that bait is the reason why they’re there. Looks like the McAlexander wreck off of new Smyrna with all that net….
We were on the Gulf side north Florida
Flounder pounder 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
It was definitely a different experience
is this on the east coast? that dont look like gulf sand
Gulf of Mexico
@@jasonbihari a lot of flounder in right now?
@@mauibuilt50 it was good on that spot but I don’t really know the area very well and know nothing about flounder.
