steezy i saw your new video and i think it was amazing even tho it’s not what you’ve planned to do it, it really shows that life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get :)
Not only is the overall edit and shot selection superb, but tying everything together with an extremely underrated Radiohead song is the icing on top. Love it
gawx, this video shows the amazing skill you have, regardless of equipment. you have an eye for emotion and composition, and you are truly an inspiration. keep up the good work!
1.) Which iPhone did you use? 13, 14, or 15? 2.) Which video modes did you use? ProRes, Cinematic? 3.) Which LUTs have you used in DaVinci? 4.) Is it possible to get a tutorial for the exact color grade you did?
A work of art! The pan at the airport (maybe riding the escalator) followed by the airplane window was my favorite part. Nicely timed to the crescendo of the music 🤌
bro don't use the Italian hand emote randomly, it doesn't make sense in this context. That gesture is used when you want to say ''what are you saying?'' or ''what do you want?''
Sorry emoji police. I meant it as a chef's kiss, which is a motion that someone might do when they make something delicious or are really impressed by something. Hope we all learned something today @@Simone_Mazzeo
Honestly, ur like a role model. i really really admire your art and your videography. I look forward for each an every video and get inspired to create more. Thankyou thankyou sm!
I think he uses Davinci Resolve. To get similar colours you could use the Filmvision II Powergrade by Serr. I always got great results wich look pretty much the same to this video :)
Editing, shots and storytelling are just superb! Regarding Radiohead : I wasn't around when they started their journey but even I can feel many years later that their stuff is pretty special !
Incredible! Please, I just wanna know if you used any add-on lenses or apps, and if so, which ones? And please drop a tutorial on the color grading. 🙏🙏
good work. 1 small observation - only replies are to comment praising you but total silence when someone asking a question. that's a lot of ego. not a good look
A part of the reason this looks so “good” is because it is shot in way of old film cameras with the colour tone and aspect ratio. So softer frames with film grain looks very impressive.
This really proves the point. It's never about the camera! The camera just captures data and it's about what you do with the data! This is an example of fantastic film emulation and great color grading!
i barely comment on youtube, yet i just stumbled with your channel and let's say that i am more than impressed. made my day, keep pushing your magnificent art into this world!! :))
one of the main reasons iphones are so cinematic, is that people are now so used to everyone holding a phone that they don't mind when you take pictures or videos phones are invincible which translates to a more candid shot with no script, and people generally don't stare at the camera, and even if they look at the lens they can not decide which lens to look at because there are 3, so no direct eye contact with the sensor (no awkwardness) Great videos Gawx, I love you art channel also!
Dog you brought literal tears with this one, jesus, and I will thank you forever for using Radiohead in something, and this film is just unbelievable, like this is what this song was made for, honest to god my favorite thing of yours
This video was in my feed and it continuously showed for about 10 times, I always knew I had to check it out, I was waiting for a moment of peace to enjoy it. Def worth it !
You know it almost frighten me how fast the iPhone camera are developing and close the gap between them and pro level camera! this is amazing! #shotontheiphone
This hgas given me so much hope, for many of those struggling thinking they need a better camera for filming and capturing moments , Gawx has proven that it takes the visionary mind of a genius to use any equipment they have. Its never the gear but the creativity who can come up with what you got. Thank you so much , this means the world .
Instead of Genius more like the level you can build yourself up to from honing yourself for a prolonged time. Hes been making videography for like half a decade or something like that it's a bit more than innate ability
Wow this video is amazing! Your beautiful shots and the music of Radiohead in my headphones has totally relaxed me for 2min25. Watch it several times! And that shot on the escalator followed by the one which goes on the same direction as the red car is brilliant, Bravo from France!
Something about you videography 🔥🔥🔥❤️ very time i watched it. It take me back to a certain time of my life that i wish could be there forever.. the gloomy scenes the calmness of it *chef kiss*
Goddamn, man i knew you watched incendies and I was hoping that you do something with "You and whose army"!! It was really on point and perfect as alwas, you delivered excelent shots and prove that you don't need and expensive gear to make such a beautiful work!
this video was edited smoothly. the iPhone was the right choice over the camera in my opinion because a lot of the time ur videos be too fast for me and theres no real smoothness to it but with this video I got to see a calmer more peaceful gawk edit for a change
Gawx, I love your content so much you’re literally my main inspiration to create thank you so much for shooting a video with the iPhone. I was wondering if you can maybe in the future give us a tutorial on color grading especially on iPhone footage. Because as an iPhone videographer I struggle so much with color grading my footage so it would be so appreciated ❤
G'day Gawx! First off amazing work mate you're a major inspiration. I'm going to LA in a month and am inspired to make something similar to document my travels. For some of the shots I can't tell if you lent your phone on something to stabalize the shot or if you mounted your phone to a tripod. I don't think you've added any third party accessories such as lenses to the phone. Amazing work nonetheless though!
blows my mind how theres a few haters. this is insane gawx love it. keep up the good work gonna go shoot a video like this on my iphone now you have inspired me.
RUN US THROUGH IT . A lot of us only have access to phones, it would be insane if you could put us through the specifics: did you shoot in log? What phone settings? You could (PLEASE) even make a LUT for us to start off grading from (for people like me who could use your guidance. It sure would be incredibly helpful to me!!❤
Give Gawx a Pringles can and he'll shoot a film with it.
Haha
Or rather, a cinematic masterpiece
yooo steezy! loved your latest video
steezy i saw your new video and i think it was amazing even tho it’s not what you’ve planned to do it, it really shows that life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get :)

This feels like the ending of a 7 seasons serie
Haha for real

@GawxArt@@TheWorldISeeYT
Which Iphone is it
Not only is the overall edit and shot selection superb, but tying everything together with an extremely underrated Radiohead song is the icing on top. Love it
exaactly, the radiohead of it all
This shows that you're only limited by creativity and skills not by equipment
gawx, this video shows the amazing skill you have, regardless of equipment. you have an eye for emotion and composition, and you are truly an inspiration. keep up the good work!
Truly means a lot to me. Thank you!

commenting because I had the same questions.
same questions hereee
we need answers :D
15pro max pro res is my guess. Don’t know about puts He talks about how he color grades in an interview I saw recently maybe think media?
@@Yamamanojkumar7 You can see it's phone footage if you look for right clues. Like a bird flying in a foreground.

For sure !!! Noticed that also. Great instinct.
Thank you!!! The music is everything!

I'm obsessed with your color grading.
Just how...
Teach us master
Check out Filmvision II Powergrade by Serr. Looks pretty similar. Maybe he used that one.

I think he uses Davinci Resolve. To get similar colours you could use the Filmvision II Powergrade by Serr. I always got great results wich look pretty much the same to this video :)
reallll
Try Serr‘s Filmvision II Powergrade for Davinci resolve. Should give you pretty much the same look
Love Radiohead and your compositions. The mixture of camera motion and timing is great. Pulls the eyes in.
Man, PLEASE share your playlist of songs! Your song choices are just * chef's kiss *
Haha for sure! It’s “Gawx” on Spotify. All my playlist are public :)
@@gawxboi Thanks man!
Those static shots really hit me in this one, great work of art as always!
The selection of the music is always flawless.

The shot at 0:21 with the road graphics is really cool
This video shows the importance of color grading
1:37 OHMYGODDD SO SICK
i am blown awayyyy. you are the master of colour grading and maximising the tools you use
Incredible! Please, I just wanna know if you used any add-on lenses or apps, and if so, which ones? And please drop a tutorial on the color grading. 🙏🙏
I only used the black magic app, it’s amazing!!
but with black magic camera there is not the option of 4:3 aspetio how you made it? just post production with crop?
This deserves way more views and Radiohead fits so perfectly.

I love this. Am planning on making a short film with an iphone so this has really motivated me.
Sometimes, all you need is the right music for the right scenes 😩
This is soo soothing
Didn't expect I'd hear "You and Whose Army" in this vid. This was a chef's kiss choice. Melted my heart ❤️
Absolutely amazing! This goes to show, you don't need an expensive camera (ik it is ironic) to do cinematography as a hobby!
one of the main reasons iphones are so cinematic, is that people are now so used to everyone holding a phone that they don't mind when you take pictures or videos phones are invincible which translates to a more candid shot with no script, and people generally don't stare at the camera, and even if they look at the lens they can not decide which lens to look at because there are 3, so no direct eye contact with the sensor (no awkwardness) Great videos Gawx, I love you art channel also!
