- 24 hours in San Francisco, I couldn't bring my camera with me so I decided to film with my phone. This is the result.
Music: Radiohead - You and Whose Army? (I discovered this gem in the absolute incredible film "Incendies" by Denis Villeneuve, would 100% recommend!)
Edited in Premiere Pro, Color graded in DaVinci Resolve

A work of art! The pan at the airport (maybe riding the escalator) followed by the airplane window was my favorite part. Nicely timed to the crescendo of the music 🤌

Check out Filmvision II Powergrade by Serr. Looks pretty similar. Maybe he used that one.

I think he uses Davinci Resolve. To get similar colours you could use the Filmvision II Powergrade by Serr. I always got great results wich look pretty much the same to this video :)

The shot at 0:21 with the road graphics is really cool
A part of the reason this looks so “good” is because it is shot in way of old film cameras with the colour tone and aspect ratio. So softer frames with film grain looks very impressive.

RUN US THROUGH IT . A lot of us only have access to phones, it would be insane if you could put us through the specifics: did you shoot in log? What phone settings? You could (PLEASE) even make a LUT for us to start off grading from (for people like me who could use your guidance. It sure would be incredibly helpful to me!!❤

This really proves the point. It's never about the camera! The camera just captures data and it's about what you do with the data! This is an example of fantastic film emulation and great color grading!

this video was edited smoothly. the iPhone was the right choice over the camera in my opinion because a lot of the time ur videos be too fast for me and theres no real smoothness to it but with this video I got to see a calmer more peaceful gawk edit for a change

How did you use Radiohead track without getting copyright strike? And did you use any special equipment or anything when taking the video, or is it just straight up an iPhone (ProRes Log vs 4k 24fps)?

Instead of Genius more like the level you can build yourself up to from honing yourself for a prolonged time. Hes been making videography for like half a decade or something like that it's a bit more than innate ability
